OMG this place was so incredible! Great cocktails but don’t forget to order the tea! ? we got the vegetarian platter for two and it was mind blowing!
The service here was great, super friendly. The bathrooms were also nice and clean. Most importantly, the food was delicious, and fun to eat with just your bare hands. The sourdough flatbread was really good with the vegetarian and meat dishes.

Absolutely delicious!! E’Njoni is a beautiful family run restaurant, the ambiance is wonderful and warm! The service was excellent! We loved the flavorful tea and the red lentil was our favorite dip! Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Had a great experience! We got the veggy feast and an order of lamb tibs. The service was very good! The food was all amazing! I will definitely come back.
Birthday dinner for spouse here, ordered the veggie platter, ample for 3 people, and added the lamb tibs and a bottle of Tej honey wine. Finished with intense coffee, fine rich grind just slightly sludgy but not bitter. Prompt, friendly service. Took home another meals worth of leftovers, AND ordered additional takeout to share with the housemates which was zipped quickly out of the kitchen. Teff injera was springy and fresh. Every dish distinctive and bursting with flavor. Top points. Birthday perfection.
Absolutely incredible food. So many choices. I recommend the veggie feast to try it all. Honestly we get it every time.You can tell a lot of love goes into each dish. I literally crave this everyday.
Absolutely exceptional. I can't believe I've lived in Portland for two years before trying this place. Don't make the same mistake! I just got takeout - I live alone and I just ate my entire meal so fast you'd think someone was trying to take it from me. So much depth of flavor and the perfect amount of spice (just enough to get your nose running). I couldn't write this review fast enough. They are doing an incredible job, don't miss out!
