Was turned away for my Birthday drink. I’ve been coming to Dutch in PDX for decades, my kids grew up knowing you’re the to go to coffee place. Yesterday I was told by a young male taking orders, there is no Free Birthday drink anymore. I had ID in hand. No more Dutch for me. I’m done for life. Learn how to set expectations better, or have employees with at least a drip of empathy! ??☕️
I had heard there was a cultic following for this chain so decided to give it a go for myself. Don't worry...no cats were sacrificed in the making of this review. The Golden Eagle was quite tasty and not bad on the wallet comparatively. However, I would recommend the management consider adding a pedestrian window door bell. Excessive rapping on glass just seems uncouth and I'm fairly certain the shock I gave the barista when she came around to serve another customer in the drive thru would have resulted in tragedy had she had a hand full of hot beverage.
It's always nice to get treated like a liar on your birthday if you don't have your identification... Ask someone what they want, make it, and then ask for an identification. I'm going to guess that went in the trash. Thanks guys
I had a good experience there they were very kind I don't know how clean it was because I couldn't get in the little With the want for a better word I'm gonna call it a shack it's not a shack really but it's a little house I don't know which call it, but anyway ., they were Bubbly and I like that in a person, they were quick so I just think I will change it to a 5 and I would recommend this place.
Dutch is my weekly drop by spot when I need a pick me up. The employees are friendly and will always greet you with a smile, the service is fast and the drinks are worth every penny.

Great group working there in the morning. I usually hit'm up on my break around 6am and it's always a pleasure. Thank you guys and ladies for all your tireless work, I believe if I'd been working there I'd probably be 3xs as hooked on coffee as I am now ?.
