Drinks and food are amazing, but my favorite part of Driftwood Room is the staff!! They are the reason I keep coming back. Love this place!

Intimate and classy. Great date night. Try the surprise cocktail. The only problem here is how dark they have it. Hard to see my even who you are with, much less the menu

The cocktails were both classic and creative. The fries and their bacon aioli were enough to keep us satiated, and their absinthe looked like it was prepared and served traditionally. A nice hidden gem that everyone should seek out when you'd like to drink in a delightfully dark cave.

Good food at the bar. Drinks were mediocre for the price. Hard to mess up an Old Fashioned, but it was. The overall feel is very, very dark. So if you're planning on admiring your current or future love of your life, move the party to the lobby (they will accept orders there). Music didn't really match the mood... You're expecting some roaring 20's or jazz? Nope, skip that for the J. Bieber or Beyonce.

Our stop here was awsome the bartenders are so cool, and apparently its the #1 spot in Portland for absinthe. They have this really cool contraption they use to serve it to you and its a whe show. We loved talking to our bartender.

Solid overall: drinks and food. Wouldn't say incredible, but the atmosphere is dark (tonally) and the dimly-lit vibe is one that's very conducive to an intimate first date. Not bad for a hotel bar, though! Unique in that sense.

I've never been here when it wasn't full. Though, it IS very small. They kept ordering the same post Covid as pre. That is to say good luck getting an order in unless you are lucky enough to get a table. You can not order through the hotel when you are a guest, so you are forced to fend for yourself. Last time it took over 45 minutes to order and receive an order of chicken skewers. Though, last time it took 25 minutes to find out they were out of skewers last time. They are decent. The hollandaise dipping sauce for the fries is very good. That said they were the only game in town at 930 unless you want to walk to the Pearl. If you have the time it is a decent bar, if not you are better off skipping it.

We have been going here for years. The new bar menu is good but spendy. Good drinks but it is so dark that we have to use our phones to read the menu! Please turn up the lights !!

Absinthe is a must !

One of the best Champagne cocktails I’ve ever tasted!! we enjoyed our burger and drink at this cozy and peaceful place!
