Tasty and rice was excellent too! You’re given a beeper to know when your order is ready which is helpful.
Friendly staff and very delicious drums sticks. Unfortunately we didn’t have the stomach to try more menu items here.
This place is fine at best. I've been twice because I really wanted to like it. But it's way over-hyped. The cardamom chicken is great, but everything else is bland, under seasoned, or just otherwise not very good. Definitely try the chicken, it is delicious. If you want good Indian food, go somewhere else.
This is a fusion indian restaurant with internet combinations and items. The dhal and vegan platter were amazing. I didn't enjoy the chai cardamom chicken much. The wait time for food isn't much. I like the vibe of the place too as you can mix and match cuisines and pick something from the other food trucks
We got the tempeh curry with rice and pickles. The pickles were average but the tempeh curry and rice with chutney were out of this world! Lots of flavor in each bite. Cool place too. Masala chai was yummy also.
We had a delicious meal. The papadums and dipping sauces were fantastic, it was utterly impossible to pick my favorite. The veggie platter was a wonderful assortment of flavors. Well done Desi.
5 stars for sure, and to me 5 stars means truly spectacular. When I see 4.8 stars on google reviews I’ll go out of my way to get it. This certainly lives up to its reputation.Get the sampler platter. It’s a little expensive, but you will regret not trying everything if you are just passing through. It’s a little hard to tell what is what, but it doesn’t even matter since it all goes so well together. I have never had Indian style pork before, but really it is a special treat.
First Indian restaurant I’ve tried in Portland and I was pretty excited as Indian food is my favorite and one of my biggest pregnancy cravings. Chicken masala tasted like tomato soup with chicken in it. Bland.
Obsessed! My go-to for a fast healthy meal in Portland. The whole cart is gluten free and tons of vegan options as well. Every dish is bursting with exciting, unique flavors. Always craving this place!
Randomly got Ubereats here and it is AMAZING. The tandoori tempeh is delicious. Sad that I haven’t had this sooner.
