Underwhelming. Bland and mealy housemade burger patty. Music was obnoxious. Potato salad was well seasoned and good. Considering I've had great vegan burgers at other restaurants in town I'm not sure I'd want to come back. Also, why is it still called DC Vegetarian when everything on the menu is vegan?

Growing up in the south, it's rare that you're treated right at home like this place makes you feel. They don't just have my money, but they have my appreciation and respect. Big portions and quality food. So much value in one visit. Thank you!

First time eating here and was really Impressed. The BBQ soy curl sandwich was delicious! This place is pretty high up my list now of places to eat in PDX.

Amazing place to eat a must stop if you're vegan. Their burger Wednesday specials are always great and incredible value.

This was good! We got the Reuben, and 3 breakfast sandwiches! The worker was so kind and thoughtful!

I'm really picky when it comes to burgers. They're always either too wet, too bland, dry af, or one of the ingredients sucks, etc etc. DC VEG HAS IT FIGURED OUT. Perfect classic combination of ingredients for that excellent burger flavor! Literally perfect. Thanks!

I love the weekly special burgers on Wednesdays, each one I tried was delicious and the flavor combination is always great. For $6 it's an amazing deal. Once I tried the steak and cheese sandwich and I really didn't like it as it was very dry. I'd probably give them 4.5 but for being vegan and their great Wednesday burger deal, they deserve 5 stars.

Delish sandwich and delish cookie. Helpful and nice staff

Had the cheesesteak and can’t quit thinking about the sandwich now….and the choc chip sea salt cookie. Delish! So glad to finally have tried this restaurant

Great food! I’m from the DC area. When I saw this place while I was visiting Portland, I had to stop. The grilled samich I got was amazing! Gooey cheez, and loaded with seitan, and filling. I ate half and saved half to enjoy later (and it was just as yummy later). Also took my husband (boyfriend at the time) and he wasn’t vegan, so I wasn’t sure if he’d like it. He loved it! Definitely would recommend and would go back next time I make it to Portland. We love DC Veg!
