Good quick stop for lunch. They have a nice patio. Ropa Vieja with maduros and a cortadito hit the spot.
Cool Cuban casual restaurant with a food truck vibe and outdoor seating. The food is very good with nice portions served. We had the mojo pork and the picadillo plates, with white rice, black beans and fried plantains. Our only "beef" is that the food had a hint of Mexican in it. Cuban food has a very distinctive flavor that is definitely not Mexican. Special mention to the ripe fried plantains, though. The drinks were delicious.
Cubo is one of the best places to eat in Portland. Phenomenal flavor, great portions, and good prices. I go here every time I get the chance and you should too!!

Loved this place and wanted try everything on the menu. I went with the Pollito bowl, which had chicken with a guava sauce, rice, beans, avocado and plantains. Yumm! They have a nice outdoor seating area as well. I’m definitely going back.
Great vibes and great food. Huge portions but really fresh ingredients that don’t leave you feeling grossly full. We got the pork plate with Caribbean salad and a Cuban with sweet potato fries. And a mango batido of course! This is a fun place to sit outside, chat, and try a couple yummy things.
Being from south Florida I've had a lot of cuban food and this was the worst I've ever had. I thought I ordered the wrong thing because there was barely any meat in the ropa vieja. The tostones, beans and rice were edible but lacking in flavor. Go to Pambiche if you want good cuban foodml.
Beyond delicious. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating that doesn't allow smoking! Thank goodness. Highly recommended this place and will for sure come back!!
The staff are super friendly! The food was out fast. For 13.25$ I was hoping to leave the restaurant at least pleasantly full. I left just about as hungry as when I came. I ordered one of the bowls. The portions and the bowl itself were tiny. The food tasted good and the presentation was lovely. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are hungry by any means.
Everything they make here is delicious. The guava chicken is my favorite, and I'm usually not a big fan of guava! Their patio is a great space, though occasionally there's a bee buzzing about. Take out is just as good too.
