Fantastic old style burger dive. Great burgers, with a variety of fries and sauces as well as a variety of soft serve and shake flavors. There's no greater burger joint in the neighborhood.
My first experience at Cruiser’s. We got two burgers and a fish sandwich, onion rings and a chocolate shake. Everything was super tasty. The onion rings were crispy. The real ice cream chocolate shake was excellent. The burgers were good-sized, not too big not too small. Friendly people, and the food came quickly. We’re new to the neighborhood and will definitely be back. One thing I would add… Stronger straws for the shakes.
Not sure why this has so many stars? My husband got the French Dip with Onion Rings and I ordered the Guacamole burger with Toys. The French dip tasted good, but the meat looked like jerky, the onion rings were good but they were served with a side of watered down ranch. My Guacamole burger only had about a teaspoon of Guacamole on it. My tots were overcooked. I was not impressed but my husband thought his was fine minus the watered down ranch. Good place for a cheap meal. Super clean and fast. If your in the area and would like something that is filling and cheap this is the place for you.
Make sure you don't bring your family here for a late night dinner night ..because your going to be let down , we showed up at 9:35 and they closed just as we all pull in . I've been coming here for 20+ years and things have changed .There not the same place I remember ? ? they used to be welcoming and happy to have people out the door past closing.. I will not return. The young kid seen we just pull in and runs to the window to flip the sing. CLOSED Online it's posted that there open tell 10pm CLOSED AT 9:35, I GUESS MY MONEY AND FAITH IS NO GOOD HERE ANY LONGER.. my kids are sad we can't go in and they have been looking forward to coming here all week ?
I've been coming here for years! This place is hands down the best burger place in the area. Their fries are delicious, hot and freshly made for each order. The ice cream selection is tremendous and their milk shakes are so good!The establishment is very clean, roomy and has lots of seating if you dine in.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good food. If you're just visiting Portland, or if you've lived here for your whole life... this place is a staple!

It was better than some, not as good as others. $8.50 burger basket (fries & drink). I don't recall anything other than lettuce on it. There could have been tomatoes & onion maybe even pickles, none of it stood out if there was.
Very , very clean and super friendly!!! Prices are extremely reasonable and affordable! Food is very fresh and served Hot ?! I would recommend this establishment!! Very spacious and lots of room to sit down and eat.
If you like old fashioned style burgers, this is the place to go. Every sandwich I have eaten here is always amazing.
