The coffee & canales were delicious, and the Soen pop-up was so lovely, what a treat! Very nice people who clearly care about their customers & good quality.
I rate exclusively on the drinks. This place has strict Covid protocol (you must wear a mask even though you are outdoors and there's a plexi barrier.) Kinda stupid, but I don't mind erring on the side of caution. The decaf was genuinely interesting. Very floral, tea-like quality (think jasmine) without dominant acidity. It's not what I would normally choose for a milk-based espresso drink, but it works well as an americano.GF said "delicious, very very good" about her oatmilk latte. She thought it was very "full-flavored" but I thought the oatmilk was too noticeable (but I normally think that of oat).Four stars from me is a very high rating. I would only give five stars to maybe five out of thousands of coffee shops I've tried.
Cutest little coffee spot in downtown Portland! The service is quick and there’s a few outdoor tables to enjoy your drinks at. This is one of the new cafes that serves canele and they’re quite tasty! Payments done through the glass so everything is contactless too!
I had the ginger and milk and it was amazing. Came back to get it again two days later and it barely had any flavor. Not sure what happened between Saturday and Monday.edit with more detail: Thank you for your response. This was last weekend, the 3rd and 5th that I visited. On the 3rd, the ginger had a sharp flavor, similar to a craft ginger beer made with real ginger. On the 5th the ginger flavor was mild. Next time I am in Portland I will be back to try it again. My wife loved the cold brew coffee!
amazing coffee and personable staff. i like to meet up with friends here.
Canele is pretty good

Courier Coffee is now reopen but with pour over coffee and small pastries only. The one time that I wanted to give it a try, there was a line and it was moving pretty slowly so I left without getting anything, which was a bummer because the coffee is supposed to be good and the pastries look delicious.
Delicious coffee, superb muffin (not even in the same class as muffins in my honest opinion, it was so good), and one of the few places still open in the middle of the most snow Portland has had in ages.
