I have eaten here as long as there has been a Chiam Restaurant. I have always ordered 3 family-style meals, substituting the cashew subgum chowmein for pea pod chow yuk. And order a special fried shrimp. This is $70-ish. Today they would not allow the substituting which COSTS THEM NOTHING TO DO. So they lost their sale, AND THEIR CUSTOMER!

Very strange Szechuan beef it was coated in some goop no peppers green peppers onions or anything not what I'm used to. Where's the beef?

My 4 year old has declared this is the best restaurant she has ever been to, with the best best rice and the the best shrimp!

Just got are food for takeout. Everything that was fried was doughy, rice was super salty, pan fried noodles were so soggy and tasted terrible. Hope other people have a better experience.

The worst food ive ever tasted, especially since they give you so much...we ordered orange chicken, noodles, potstickers and another chicken dish. It was all different temperature the texture was all weird for each dish and the flavor was the weirdest sour ish strange and foul. I dont know what others are ordering but Don't. Whats really bad was IT SMELLED GREAT until you bit the food. Dont eat here.

This has always been our favorite Chinese food restaurant. Multiple generations of memories.. The food is always perfect and fresh (even during the pandemic) and they took very good care of all of us during lockdown. I can't wait to sit in the dining room, which is finally open again.

Our 'go-to' for local Chinese. Lunch is nice too. Good combo and quick.

Thank you for hosting my father's memorial yesterday... He had many fond memories of Chiam and all of the great people he met there over the years.

This is a great local Chinese-American Restaurant. We only get take out here but appreciate the consistency, value and timeliness. We have tried the Chicken Sub-Gum Chow Mien, BBQ Pork, Hot Sour Soup, Beef Broccoli, Sesame Chicken and various combination plates. My go to is the Chicken Sub-Gum Chow Mien & BBQ pork. The serving size is generous so I always have some leftovers for lunch the next day. The prices are reasonable. The friendly gentleman who works the front (likely the owner) is always nice. A take out order almost always takes 15-20 minutes but it comes out hot and fresh. I wish they had a new menu posted online but you can pick up a paper copy when you get food. I always call in my order for the best price.I uploaded the latest menu from September 2021

With one exception (phoned in a to-go order) I've always eaten in the lounge. This is probably because my first time there my friend took me to the lounge to eat...and I've found the service in the lounge has always been great (even if I'm not drinking any alcohol) and it is a shorter walk from the entrance I take then walking a greater distance to their dining room!
