Get there early because the options were limited but that's a good thing because as I was waiting for my food a ton of people came in to order.It seems to be a local favorite spot. Good food, good price... I'm satisfied with that!
I have been visiting this restaurant for years since the late 90s. They still have the best roasted pork in Portland. The wontons were also the best in town but haven't had it since the lock down. They are open but for take out only but the food is still delicious as always. Will be visiting this place for years to come. I have not had a bad meal here ever. The congee and beef chow fun is Also top notch.
I ordered here three times. They screwed up the order twice. Recently I ordered spicy rice. Rice was not spicy. I called to complain. I was told to come back, that the order would be remade. I went back and the lady shoved two cups of hotsauce at me and shouted "thank you!" at me twice dismissively. Guess what? I'm taking this up with my card ... Thank you!
Soups are so good. Fantastic roast duck. Love the tangy eggplant too. My favorite Chinese in Portland. I don't go at night by myself anymore. My husband double parks in front while I run in to get our take out.
They are current not doing dine in but the food is authentic and the service is fast! Prices are honest. It is in a sketchy part of town at night so make sure you don’t leave valuables in your car.

Absolutely delicious.This is one of those authentic hole-in-the-wall restaurants in a sketchy place. I recently moved from Hawaii and I've been looking for a place that makes good noodles and jook. And I'm happy to say that I found my replacement.So far, I've tried their Super Bowl A, Super bowl B, chicken jook, and century egg and pork jook.Looking forward to trying their funn dishes as well.
I really enjoyed the BBQ pork fried rice and crab puffs reminds me of East Coast Chinese...i will definitely continue to order from them...
This place is so good it's always one of those holes in walls in a sketchy area of town. But so good so worth it, and the dumplings are off the hook!!!
Get the roasted duck and congee you will not regret it!
