This place is pretty chill. The espresso granita is delicious and really nice alternative to a frappa something. The staff is friendly and laid back. I'm usually in and out with enough time to enjoy a leisurely walk back to work on my break
Caffe Umbria in Portland is a beautiful well lit coffee shop on the corner of Broadway and Madison. The shop is spacious inside with ample seating.I had the caffe mocha and it was amazing. There is a perfect amount of foam on top and it’s served with a spoon for savoring it.The chai is also a good choice and it’s just a bit spicy.
Looking for a place close to our hotel Heathman, and something similar in quality to Peets, I was referred here. Wow, was I surprised. Starbucks was about the same distance, and usually I go there to get a decent cup of Joe. Glad I didn't. If you like bold fl, come here. I will return for the next 2 days as we depart for home on Sunday. Thank you Caffe Umbria.
Beautiful place, amazing coffee and terrible customer service. Went there with my wife to get coffees for us and we were met by the cashier who wouldn’t even greet us or read back our orders to us. Just started typing on the screen and told us our total. Didn’t even bother to say thank you or any of that. The barista set our coffees on the counter, said what the drink was and turned away. No thank you or have a good day from any of the staff and it wasn’t particularly busy in there. We left feeling unwelcome in this business and won’t be returning customers to this establishment.
Coffee and tea was delicious. This was the only coffe shop that we went to while in Portland ☕️ ?
I’m not usually one to leave a poor review but I was super unimpressed with this experience. Mocha tasted fine, but the sandwich I ordered was almost completely frozen lol. I could tell the minute I looked at it, so I would hope the baristas could see that as well. I was able to eat the heated parts, but half of the sandwich will be in the trash. Not worth the price or the bored attitude of the employees.
Honestly, the coffee here was really good! The pastries and food were really good too! I wish I'd have taken pictures, but I forgot. The prices were reasonable for it all as well.

Beautiful and elegant space with a decent amount of seating. Delicious jam print cookies and a complimentary square of chocolate with a cup of coffee.
This is one of my favorite coffee shops. Italia! The matcha is really good and a little piece of dark chocolate as a side treat! The staff is on point! I stop in whenever I’m in the neighborhood. ? ☕️ ?
