This is a cute little cafe, I stopped in here briefly to escape the rain on an overcast weekend. The atmosphere is very calm, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Seating is spaced nicely and it's not too loud or crowded inside.I ordered a strawberry rhubarb latte which was one of the specials on offer. It sounded like a unique drink with a lot of potential to be great or terrible, but this was unique and delicious. Overall I had a very positive experience, and would be happy to return.

Interesting experience. The coffee quality was fine. However, the dine-in experience was unsettling. The three staff in store during my visit spent most of their time on their phones, putting them down only to serve customers. At no time did I observe any staff wash their hands in between switching from their phones to serving customers. At one point one of the staff was wiping their nose with bare hands. During these times, I'd think sanitary conditions should be goal number one. Also, I get that staff aren't always excited to be at work, but at minimum, reduce the personal aspect when on the clock, especially in front of the clientelle.

Visited several times during a recent trip to PDX. Great coffee (of course), and the Corrado was steaming hot - just how I like it. But here's a pro tip - Do not miss their jam or Nutella biscuits. They are addictive, and make for a wonderful breakfast or snack or dessert or anytime eat. The space is clean and fresh, service is prompt and pleasant. We'll be back.

delicious lavender latte, free wifi, bright and chic interior, definitely stay and enjoy your coffee

Visited from LA.This caffe is amazing.Really tasty coffee and pastries!!Also, all the workers are super friendly!!Also the environment is very clean and comfortable!!Thank you for the amazing experience!!

Great coffee and really nice staff; they have a nice selection of different drinks and sizes so there is sure to be something for everyone.I go there at least once a week and it is always a great time. My usual order is a lavender latte w/ oat milk. Made w/ the same consistency.I will say that depending on the time of day, it gets rather busy and at times, there might not be a table indoors, so plan accordingly. Noise levels vary

Consistently really good coffee and super friendly staff. Great selection of inventive new drinks to try as well as your neighborhood coffee house classics. Great food selections - best actually of any coffee shop within a 10 block radius we've found. Definitely one of our go-to shops.

Really high-quality espresso, great pastry selection, very friendly staff. Umbria is a no-frills experience, not pretentious but still very cute. However, I always seem to have a horrible experience dining in at Umbria despite having high hopes. It can be like having coffee at a gas station. Drip coffee is not their specialty, so I would avoid this on the menu, flavor profile is low-quality and similar to diner coffee. Homeless people hang out inside and the place smells as such which tends to ruin the experience of smelling and tasting coffee. The staff clammer by with carts of cleaning equipment. Very stark lighting, the appliances are abrasively loud -- you cannot hear a conversation. I always want it to be a wonderful experience at Umbria but it keeps failing me.

Great coffee shop. Good amount of seating, but the atmosphere is so nice that you may not find a spot. Drinks aren't cheap, but they're tasty and well made. A good spot to hit!

My favorite oat milk matcha latte in town
