Don't get the quesadilla. The photo looks fine, but these looks are VERY decieving.Think of your first attempt at a quesadilla: hardly melted, thick, cheddar cheese. There's this weird off-putting, oily taste. Theres no salt or spices, just overwhelming bad cheddar cheese that ruins everything.First bite, I immediately got that taste. Awful quesadilla. And for $12?!?! The "chunky subs" food cart on 4th Ave has much a better and bigger quesadilla for almost half the price.Also, the bowls are just rice and beans with a little bit of added cheese, meat, and overpriced toppings... Nothing that justifies the price .
I have never been to a Cafe Yumm! before, so when I decided to try it out, I didn't know what to expect. The food was delicious, and I don't normally like rice with my food. I have been missing out for a long time.
Ordered a bowl with the toppings on it and what I got with it was very soupy/watery/grease which didn't sit well with the items in the bowl. Couldn't really get a chance to properly enjoy the bowl.
They were really slow when I went so seating was easy. The food was okay, but it felt a little sparse in the flavour department compared to places I'm more used to (like Whole Bowl, in SE.) However, the food was ok and the cookie I had ? was really good. Solid spot.
The service was very good and I liked it I was having lunch but I must worn you it can get kinda pricy when you buy a medum bowl and a drink so be caredul
Still a little subdued with covid protocols, but the food is always great.
I love cafe yumm, but this particular location never puts the salsa on my bowl when I order the hot and jazzy and it makes me so sad every time

Super good, I always get my order quickly and their food is very good especially the tortilla cheese soup!!! Awesome place good location as well
