Let’s talk about this meatball “sandwich”. Where do we begin, first the size. A meatball, on its own, should not be a choking hazard. A meatball should be the size of a plum, the balls here are barely the size of golf balls, perfectly acceptable for a spagett but not for a sandwich. Oh, and why bother cutting it in half, both along the spine of the bread and to bisect the “sandwich”, if you only provide 3 balls?! Please take a trip to 24th pizza and meatballs to learn how to properly construct a meatball sandwich, charging $13 for this is insulting to the culinary delight that is balls of meat slathered in sauce on bread, AKA a meatball sub. And yes I know it’s not real meat but that is no excuse for poor sandwich-craft

Had the BBQ tofu bowl that was really delicious with brussel sprouts and rice. They have aardvark which I appreciated. I had a couple cocktails the emotional margarita and the hot mess, which were good but I seem to remember them being larger a few years ago. I'm guessing inflation and covid has affected the size. Otherwise great experience. They have plenty indoor and outdoor seating and all vegan and vegetarian options.

Very good menu, I had a hard time deciding what I wanted but ended up with the broccoli peanut bowl. It was delicious and hearty and I also got a grapefruit mocktail which was also delicious. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I sat outside and there was sun and shade. The bartender was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend for vegans and non vegans alike!

Joined some friends for brunch. The outdoor seating means that we can enjoy bye and bye’s delicious food and drinks and not have to worry about the weather. Looking forward to more brunch outings with friends!

This is the most impressive selection of vegan food that I've ever seen at a restaurant. I've had both their spaghetti and their macaroni and cheese. While it's hard to find a good substitute for pasta dishes on a vegan diet, the Bye and Bye offers meals that taste different from regular non-vegan meals, but delicious nevertheless. The mac and cheese has a spicy yet creamy flavour to it, and the bread crumbs on top really offer a new level of savory and crunchy. Service is always nice too.

Visited on a rainy Tuesday and sat outside, they were nice and lit a heater for our group. Ordered hot drinks and food. Enjoyed both thoroughly! The pretzel knots had yummy mustard and “cheese” dipping sauces. The “meatball” sub was saucy and delicious, and the peanut broccoli bowl was tasty and filling! The drinks were warm and very enjoyable. Would come back

Everything you need. This place is awesome.

Met with some friends on their patio for drinks and some "snacks" before we went to dinner. I liked this place a lot and can see myself returning. It was suggested I try their house cocktail in which their business is named after, "the Bye and Bye" and it was OK. It went down fine, was a large portion, pretty in color, but largely something I could make at home if I wanted so the novelty is drinking it with friends. The food is also OK. I got the sense that the pretzels were frozen, pre-packages, which is FINE.The patio is large, and very well heated, I will definitely be back to try some other drinks here but will probably eat elsewhere.

The Samurai bowl was delicious and had such a great flavor. The tofu was tossed in a spicy creamy sauce. Dog friendly patio is always a plus too. I’ll definitely visit again next time I’m in Portland
