Burgerville just isn’t the same as it used to be. It has quality ingredients, but cooked into dried-out patties and over-salted fries.. You need to dip them in sauce to really enjoy the food.THAT being said, make sure to order sauce when placing your order. They won’t remind you, and it doesn’t say on the menu, but they will not comp you a single ranch cup. You’ll be digging through your car for a quarter, or swiping your card for a 25 cent cup of sauce, even after paying $25 for two burgers, two fries, and two cokes, with a $5 tip on top. It’s little things like this that can turn a 5 star visit into a 3 star visit.
The food was good, but the service was less than a great experience. When the person in front of me finish ordering they decided to have a cashier change. We've all had to deal with these but this one was really kind of not so great. First off kid didn't even acknowledge me and then he wasn't able to log in didn't even make an effort to apologize for the delay didn't even make eye contact which took at least 3 minutes. This next thing is with all burgerville today there's an option for leaving gratuity before you can pay. I'm sorry that these kids are already earning 15 bucks an hour and all they're doing is taking an order, and find it kind of insulting to even ask. Then the kid didn't even give me my drink cup. And this one just speaks to level class the staff was clearly lacking: it took my order prepared his own order for his lunch and sat down before mine was brought out to me. I have to tell you that's just like treating your customers like second class. Then when the other kid brought my order out he forgot my cup again and he didn't offer to bring any ketchup for my frys when they leave bottles of it on the tables. I have to say the service of that location is really gone downhill.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐UPDATED TO REFLECT AN INCREDIBLE AND UNIQUE EXPERIENCE 06.20.2022Last week I stopped by at about a quarter after 11:00 am and picked up a good old-fashioned Burgerville cheeseburger. It was one of THE BEST, if not THE BEST fast food cheeseburger ever! It was cooked to perfection: nice & juicy and it actually had a lovely flavor and texture. Many times fast food burgers are overcooked and dry so I end up avoiding it, for good reason.Gladstone Burgerville has earned my 5⭐star review!UPDATE: I was out and about and gave in to my craving for another ? cheeseburger.. I am delighted with my experience this morning.I have kudos to the team for the exceptional experience I have last week. When I pulled up to pay for my order in the drive-thru, I was short 25¢, the cost of the water I ordered. I fumbled around looking for an extra quarter but unable to find one, embarrassed I asked the cashier, Oliver, to remove the water from my order. Without missing a beat Oliver pulled out a personal debit /credit card and paid for my water! I am continually reminded of the love and kindness, respect and humanity in our communities. I hope to always hold this memory to lift me up on dark days or on those occasions when I begin to lose my faith in humanity.Oliver is an exceptional example of beauty and kindness and not judging me or having any ill will or attitude or looking down on me for not being prepared or lack of funds. Thank you Oliver! May you be richly blessed!
Too expensive. The portions of the burgers are absurd. How about a regular portion at a reasonable price. 14$/meal for fast food, then it doesn't all get eaten because it's way too big of a burger. I didn't see a smaller option for reasonable price.
The staff there was extremely rude, from the guy taking the order through the drive thru to the guy handing out my food at the next window. They messed up the kind of fries I wanted, my receipt even showed waffle fries so I know the order was taken correctly, just not handed out right. I gave a 25 percent tip but then regretted it when they were so rude!! Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. Will definitely not be going back! At least not the Gladstone location.
This Burgerville has the absolute best fries in the world! I have yet to get a cold order of fries, in a world that cold fast food fries seems to be the main option. The line at this specific Burgerville seems to be outrageous in the drive thru, but that is not the Restaurants fault. That has more to do with how good their food is and how many people will keep coming back. I have yet been disappointed with the food here. I will continue to return time after time!
This location frequently forgets to put ordered and paid for items in bags and then refuses to give them to you when you come back for them. Most of the time the quality is decent and the staff is great, but there is one person who is consistently rude and there was one occasion I got VERY sick after eating at this location. Staff does not seem to be very willing to make things right.
The line was long at the Milwaukie location but SO worth it! I can't have dairy so I tried an Oregon Strawberry shake with Coconut Bliss and it was to die for! Their shakes are amazing!
Burgerville will almost always get my 5 star reviews. I never liked McDonald's, burger king etc for fast burgers even when I used to eat meat. For fast food as a vegetarian, I HIGHLY recommend for their veggie bean burger. Again BEAN burger for those who don't like the taste and or texture of real meat especially, need something delicious, fresh, fast? This is your place! I've been eating there for 3 years and the only complaint could possibly make is sometimes (only sometimes) they put too much mayo, however I just squeeze it out onto a napkin as needed.
Been dying for a good burger and some fries. Went up the road and found out I can't get food because I don't own a car. Great move! I can't buy from you because you don't let people inside. At least Taco Bell let me walk through the Drive Thru
