Been a huge fan of Bull Run bourbon for 4 years. I buy one bottle of bourbon pinot noir cask finish per week; 52 per year. That stopped today. I’ve seen the price go from from $34.95 to $38.95 and as of today, $48.95. That’s a 40% increase! Supply chain issues, label shortages or CPI figures don’t explain a 40% jump. Love the product but it’s above my weekly bourbon budget, so just bought a different (and quality) brand of bourbon 5 minutes ago.
Very friendly and knowledgeable, but the drinks were VERY high proof. We had a good time.
Jennifer and Lee are an absolute wealth of knowledge when it comes to whiskey and vodka making (and all spirits for that matter)! They have a very nice and unique distillery/tasting room in NW. I highly recommend all their whiskeys but my two favorite were the Pinot and Madera finished whiskey. Their vodka is very smooth as well!
Small but quaint. Very friendly staff. I would go back again.
This was my first whiskey tasting and it was phenomenal, not only did Bull Run help me celebrate my second anniversary in style, they showed the true friendly atmosphere you so desire in these times, if you truly want to experience a friendly environment without any pressures of life outside their doors then Bull Run is your next stop, THANK YOU BULL RUN FOR MY BEST ANNIVERSARY YET!
They have some great whiskey. The cognac flavored whiskey was our favorite.

What a great selection of locally-made whiskeys! They also make aquavit, Arak, Rye and a lot of other spirits. The tasting room is a bit tucked away, but it is absolutely worth seeking out. The room is cozy and the staff is exceptionally knowledgeable about the spirits they sell. They were very generous with their time and knowledge.Right now, they can't have more than a few people in at a time and you should be wearing a mask when you're not tasting. I'm okay with that. This was a really great experience and it will be after the pandemic is over, too.
Small but very nice tasting room. super helpful and friendly young lady helped me with a couple pours and finally picked a bourbon that was finished in a Willamette Pinot noir wine cask. Nice complex flavor.
After having Jennifer at Bull Run Distillery give me some tastings and cocktail ideas, I contracted her to create drinks for an event. She did an excellent job! The cocktail drinks were delicious and she pre-made alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions which were all a hit at the party. I highly recommend Bull Run Distillery's products and creativity for making your event a success!
