Unless you're a local, you won't get service here... the atmosphere is weird with the casino machines on one side and the want to be bar / bbq place on the other. The rders come out wrong, no one comes to your table and after waiting a long time, hope your food is right. The ribs are tough, the brisket is decent, the sausages are good. But don't get your hopes up. The locals come in screaming and treating the place like a backyard. The manager acknowledged the long wait time and lack of service, so she did what she could based on the circumstances

I have been by this place many times over the years and just because of it's seemingly hard to enter location which I was wrong, and because of the neighborhood I never had stopped. My friend recently told me about how good the food was there and so he took me there and I was blown away how good it was. It was also busy which is always a good sign. The only bad thing was there is a lot of homeless in the parking lots and surrounding area which makes it a bit nerve racking keeping an eye on your catalytic converters. Still worthy of 5 stars!

The only sandwich available was a $16 sandwich that was pulled pork, brisket and a sausage. I didn't see any other options on the menu and the server wasn't helpful as far as explaining the menu. I would have preferred the option to have a sandwich that was just brisket or the pulled pork. I didn't see that option on the menu. For $16, it was not worth the price. I didn't care for the sausage, there was hardly any brisket or pork to justify that price. It came with coleslaw, which was tasty and also a small portion of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was delicious. If the food server was more informative, I would have known that I could of had the option of an order of the mac and cheese and/or a smaller, less expensive sandwich. The menu was not easy to read as far as understanding what other options were available. All I could see was the huge $16 sandwich. I knew there were options for ribs but I would have ordered a smaller sandwich with just pork or brisket if I was told those were available. The service was extremely slow and there was only 2 other customers in the dining area. The bill came to $30 and that was without our beverages as the server never brought them to us until we were almost done with our meal so she deducted them off the bill. A glass of pepsi was $3.00, which seemed far to pricy for a pint glass of pop. Also, it was uncomfortable in there because it was very cold so we decided that we'd eat the rest at home. I would try them one more time as I believe that everyone can have an off day and deserve another chance as some of the food was very good. But it was far too expensive for what we got as far a the portions we received. I was very disappointed.

Most authentic southern BBQ style restaurant around! I'm a Texas girl living in a lonely world or so I thought. I have been so home sick lately and boomers was the remedy I needed that saved me from a toxic decision. From the delicious food to the pricing and service! My bill for all of this was 50$ I was shocked! My server was so kind and hospitable that we felt comfortable to sit and enjoy and I was talked out of taking a bad trip ?Delicious, dirt cheap, damn good ?

Love to get BBQ food here! Highly recommend their tater nachos and their pulled pork sandwhiches! One of my go to places to play video poker as well !

Winning games but the bartender wasn't so nice. He was always complaining about how much he had to payout on the games. Don't like it? Find a job that you don't make your customers feel guilty for asking to you to cash a ticket.

The kitchen manager is an absolute jerk. Before he wants to come out and run his mouth maybe he should learn how to cut a brisket when he’s talking to a person from Texas. I came into town and had the best service for approximately two weeks and then this guy shows up making his presence known as he is the kitchen manager. After having a conversation with him about how many marijuana gummy’s he ate I was completely unimpressed. There are some great bartenders at this barbecue joint and with staff. Do yourself a favor if you want a good clean cut slice of brisket go somewhere else because if you try to educate the kitchen manager you will be screwed.

LOVE THE BBQ HERE! OMG ITS SO GOOD best BBQ I've ever had at a restaurant. Only left 4 stars because when I walked in I wasn't greeted by the server honestly I don't think they had one.....ended up sitting at the bar so I could get my order in which took about 30-35 minutes. But it was worth the wait cause food was ☆☆☆☆☆ amazing! It is kinda pricey in my opinion one of my meals the "serious platter" was 26$ but it came with a lot of food enough for 2 people to share. It comes with ribs but they ran out of them so il return for the ribs!!**Everyone had on their mask and they were strict on people who were not wearing mask inside*** Thanks for keeping us safe guys!

Excellent food delicious drinks and a covered patio to keep you from the Sun or rain. All their video poker machines also work all the time never one broken when I go there and the ladies and the gentleman are super super kind and welcoming thanks for your hard work and pork belly tacos

Very informal - basically a neighborhood bar crossed with a serious BBQ operation. I ordered a "slider basket": two sliders (pulled pork & crisp slaw), crispy ultra-skinny string fries (fresh & hot), basic green salad on the side. BBQ sauce is also on the side (I got sweet, hot & Carolina are other choices) and tasty. At $10, it was exactly what I needed for a respectably sized lunch, and a good value at the price.
