Pork vindaloo, chicken curry, and Tikka Bowl were all good!

Bhel puri was decent but little heavy on mint chutney, it should generally be a good balance between mint and sweet and hot chutney and $11 is expensive for the quantity and qualityChai was little overpowered with cardamom but still decent but the free refill is a good perk for the pricePaneer Kathi roll was decentAmazing ambience though and fast moving lines and crowdParking can be little tough during busy days

Love their interior decorations, ambiance and food. Must visit.

It is an Indian restaurant but the taste is definitely not like you get in India or even any other Indian restaurant. The ambience is great but you won’t like food if you are Indian. Everything is overpriced and quantity is small. Pv Bhaji was bland and lacking spices you typically have in it. Vada pav was ok but not great. Same for Bhel. Maybe my taste buds are used to real Indian food so I didn’t like Americanized version of Indian food. We were hungry and had to go to another restaurant again

So dang good. Get the Pork Vindaloo and the Pav Bhaji. But also get everything.

I had heard so much about this place from locals and otherwise and being an Indian who gets excited by good, I was super excited. Sadly, it was quite underwhelming.Entering the restaurant, the ambience was amazing! It looked really promising.I had the vada pav, pav bhaji and kathi roll and none of them made the mark. The vada in the vada pav was very soggy. Vadas are usually have a little firmness on the outside if not a slight crunch. The pav for vada pav and pav bhaji were small buns and didn't really give the pav feeling. The pav in vada pav in never toasted and always served as is but here it was toasted with butter which did more to harm the authenticity. The kathi roll was the best among the three (still nowhere close to Indian kathi rolls). The biggest problem with the kathi roll was that it was open on both ends. This is typically a dish that people in India have on the go and so it's neatly packed (similar to a burrito) so that it doesn't spill out from either end. Taste wise, the kathi roll should be quite more spicy.

I love this restaurant, the best authentic Indian street food. I have been to so many Indian restaurants, this one is unique. They serve Indian street food and other menu items. Extreme attention to quality and freshness, this is a hidden gem. Thank you for making delicious food.

Really cool vibe with delicious and unique food. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Alberta

I normally love the makhani sauce and any version of it at this restaurant. They are notorious for "fall off the bone" chicken and beautiful, bright yogurt sauce to accompany it, especially in the Thali meal. However, this week was the first time I had a poor dish here, at the Alberta location in Portland. The chicken was unfortunately thoroughly rubbery. A knife barely cut it. And there wasn't any cilantro on top. That's normally one of my favorite parts, all the little details of flavor. Also, the makhani gravy was thick, poorly mixed, and inconsistent with not much flavor in some spots, and just peppery in others. It was not at all a delicious meal. The yogurt sauce was still nice but I used to cover the rest, which isn't typical. I also found the bread to be much greasier than usual.I know a lot of places probably have all new staff after lockdown so I haven't written them off yet, but these recipes are a treat I invest in with my small spare income as a grad student. I hope you guys can bring it back to beautiful. I used to look forward to this at least once a month. Thanks.

Not your traditional Indian food restaurant. This is something I would recommend to my other ethnic friends who would like to try out Indian food. Restaurant setting is amazing. We really enjoyed it.
