Walked in and was expecting gas station quality sushi but couldn't have been more surprised. The quality of the rice and sashimi was insane and is probably some of the best that Portland has to offer. Everything from the taste to the presentation was exceptional and not to mention the servers were very kind and professional. Could not recommend this place more if you are looking for high quality sushi in a chill cafe-like environment.
We chose the place based on location and the fact it had the highest Google ratings. I am happy to add to their collection of 5 stars! The sushi is fresh and super high quality and our waitress was knowledgeable and very friendly. My wife and I ordered the chefs choice sushi dinner and it was amazing, not to mention were were both stuffed and took home leftovers for a tab that was only $70! For that kind of quality this is almost unheard of. Next time I'm in Portland, I'll be back.
Wow this was by far some of the best sushi I've had in Portland hands down! The chefs are a master of their craft! They are busy on the weekends so you probably need a reservation, but they managed to squeeze the two of us in after a little wait. Friendly staff and fair pricing. Just go!
AMAZING! We are from Eugene and LOVE sushi. We are in the area for the night and saw this place had the best rating of the choices nearby and IT EARNED IT. Our server was professional, but chill, and made it a very personable experience. Our sushi arrived and it was literally the largest rolls that I have ever seen. Easily double the size of what we are used to. The flavor was amazing and every bite was to die for. The display was ADORABLE and our "Caterpillar" even had eyes and antennae! The price was way cheaper than we expected too! For a Caterpillar roll twice the size of generic "store bought", it was only $13. Wasabi was definitely the real stuff too! Definitely try this place if you love sushi! We got 3 rolls, baked mussels, and 2 large saki for $57
Creative and delicious. Very reasonably priced for the quality. The service was attentive and friendly. We came hungry and the kitchen didn’t keep us waiting, despite the mostly full restaurant for Saturday dinner service the whole VERY large 2 person order took no time at all to come out. Perfectly paced, too much to try in one visit, need to come back again and again!
A toro-lover’s dream. I’ll be back. Casual dining with exquisitely fresh sushi. Uni, crispy rice, otoro, chutoro, sake/salmon belly, sea bream, rib, unagi, NW oysters, maguro, all of it was freaking delicious, and reasonably priced for the quality.
Good sashimi, good sushi. You should stick with those from the menu.
The only thing better than their phenomenal sushi is the service. Highly recommended. And if you are going to get take-out, you'll appreciate the beautiful presentation as well.

Incredibly fresh and high-quality sushi with thoughtful and friendly staff in a very clean and comfortable location. We loved our meals and experience! The Karaage and tempura were delicious.
