My favorite place to take friends and family from out of town. I like to treat myself to their donuts every now and then too.The donuts are pricey when compared to Krispy Kreme. But that is because they pack way more flavor. I don't think you should eat donuts often so when you do it might as well be the best. The bourbon blueberry basil is my favorite. It has a great fresh and fruity glaze on top. The dough feels dense and sweet. It isn't just carby fluff.

I read that this was the place to get an amazing donut--not Voodoo. I don't know. They are pretty pricy and were just ok. We had three different flavors and none of them were that magical. In fact we didn't finish a single donut. And threw them away. Pretty disappointed.

Really good donuts! Bold flavours, not overly sweetLooking forward to visiting again when in Portland

Dropped by just before closing with a craving for an old fashioned donut but they were all out. Amazing staff Annie and Olin chatted with me to try the orange olive oil vegan donut. It’s usually hard to replicate donuts to be vegan but this one was a hit on all the levels. A must try in my opinion. Thanks you two for a great visit!

Great donut place. It's very neat. These actually are not the best donuts to me. However, the staff is super friendly and professional. These guys and girls smile too and are happy to answer questions. Again, great quality and taste though not the best tasting but overall as far as staff, donut and looks inside, it's the best overall donut place in Portland.

The donut was super soft, fresh and delicious. Thanks to the staff for helping me selecting the best donut. I bought the donut on my way to the Oregon coast. I enjoyed the delicious donut with the ocean view.

I have tried 9-10 droughts from here and I tend to enjoy their old-fashioned doughnuts more than others so far. It is tender, moist and dense, but it is not heavy. Even next day, I enjoyed the texture and flavor :)I have tried 3 different filling doughnuts, and I wish they filled with more cream / jelly… If I buy a filling doughnut, I would like to taste/eat cream more than dough.Crème brûlée is worth trying, but you have to be there at the perfect timing when they touch the sugar.

Hands down the best donuts in town! Brought family members here and they absolutely loved everything! Cute sitting area outside and the staff were awesome! You can't go wrong with anything you choose.

Good, but not as good as voodoo. We came to Portland for the weekend and read tons of articles saying blue star donuts was the place to go. We ended up going to both blue star and voodoo and voodoo was much better. They also seem to run out of options really fast (we came in the afternoon). Voodoo had the entire menu available at the same time. The donuts were also much smaller.

These donuts are amazing, they might be 3 to 4 dollars apiece, but well worth it if you are traveling and want a good rated doughnut. It is not a ginormous selection, I don’t think they change their donuts very often, so you can go online and pre-order, walk in and grab your donuts or have delivered curbside.
