I would die for this place. Every donut is INCREDIBLE and so tasty! Get there early if you want the tropical flavours, but they are all good. I love visiting blue star when I'm in town and would recommend it to any donut fan!
Very good donuts. However, the location was out of many of the donuts we were interested in that I am sure sell out fast and their sign said until 2 pm or out of donuts which makes the timing unpredictable because they have no way of specifying that closing time is subject to change online.
First off, the donuts are really good. However they are very simple and plain. This particular location wasn't incredibly friendly with staff snickering at a sport jacket and hat while they wore their baseball capped uniforms. Perhaps that's due to the broken nature of Portland in general. I drove from Seattle to Napa Valley so far where I'm writing this review and haven't had worse customer service anywhere, not even a gas station. If the staff knows you and approves of your style you may have a different experience but if you don't fit the Portland mold then go elsewhere. They are fairly intolerant here towards anyone not like themselves, at least at this location. Tourists should stick to voodoo.
We tried the glazed, key lime, chocolate, and raspberry. Taste is unreal and worth it! Americanos are good too.
Loved the passion fruit cayenne vegan cake one! They have many vegan options and we tried four that all tasted fresh and soft. The tropical coconut one was my second favorite. I tried their vanilla cream masala chai with oat milk, however it tasted much more watered down than I prefer for my chai so I wouldn’t get that again, perhaps a latte next time. I would return for the donuts though, wish I’d also tried the strawberry cream one!
Wonderful Donuts. Ordered one with cream filling and it has been put in the fridge so it made it somewhat hard. Donuts should not be cold, just sayin. Besides that everything else was great and warm or at room temp :)
Wide variety of donuts, lots of unique flavors I had never heard of. Was originally going to rate 4 stars due to the sheer price per donut but then I remembered how good and worth it each was.Below pictured: top - passion fruit and vanilla, bottom - Apple fritter. Both were delicious and the Apple fritter had real Apple on top of it.

I was upset at how unfairly good my donut was. Decadent, indulgent, and drop dead gorgeous. Get the coffee too and sit outside. Great to enjoy division st with Blue Star in hand
These donuts are unique and delicious. The coffee here was horrible, but I enjoyed the donuts so much I didn’t have the heart to give it less than 5 stars. Get donuts here….right after you hit up stumptown coffee.
