I got to taste the yummy cookies and cakes first at one of Bee's Cakes' pop ups, and had been waiting for an opportunity to order a custom cake. The inquiry form and follow up communication was easy and thoughtful and the finished product was perfect. The cake was GORGEOUS not to mention delicious! I highly recommend for special occasions, or just the days when you need cake.
Walking in feels like walking into a cake. Soft and pink, full of balloon sprinkles and other cute things. The pastries and full espresso are better than average Portland coffee shop treats. But the CAKE. The sheer joy and decadence. Moist beyond belief. Adorably decorated. And best of all? I just felt happy.I also can't remember the staff, but she was wonderful too. So kind to my very chatty kid and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Rebecca just open this awesome new bakery after she had her successful bakery cart for years. Love the new space and awesome pastries. Plus barista Katie also does some amazing beautiful flowers for sale as well.
There’s not enough to say about Bee and her team - we had a small cake for our elopement and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I did say to surprise us giving her and our florist free creative range, i couldn’t have pictured a better cake for our day (not to mention taste was AMAZING)! She was very easy to work with, she has such amazing relationship with other vendors in the area that connecting her and the florist felt so natural and left me not worrying planning our special day. I can’t thank them enough and will forever reach out to them for any event needing a creative, unique and delicious cake.
Bees custom cakes made the most amazing beer themed cupcakes for my birthday party. The attention to detail and flavor went above any expectations. The little beer cans were so cute, everyone was super impressed (and arguing over which one they got!)
I had ordered a train themed cake for my sons 2nd birthday two weeks out. Rebecca corresponded quickly and was able to design the cutest most perfect train cake. My son’s eyes were soo huge the moment he saw it! We barely wanted to eat it to be honest hehe. The vanilla cake with strawberry inside & the buttercream had the perfect sweetness! I also ordered the a dozen cupcakes which were just as yummy. Thank you Rebecca for creating the most favorite part of my son’s train party! I will be ordering from Bee’s in the future ?
When my husband and I decided on a destination wedding in Oregon, I knew pretty quickly that I wanted dessert by Bee's Cakes. We had a strange request - asked her to make pies for us instead of cakes, which is literally the name of the business. However my husband is a pie man, not really into cake, and Becca stepped up to the challenge flawlessly. She designed three types of pies: banana cream with caramel, Oregon berry with a gingerbread crust, and lemon meringue - just for us. My guests were delighted and me and my husband remember these pies fondly as the best desserts we have ever had. Not only did they taste delicious, but they were decorated beautifully as well. Thank you Bee's Cakes for the pies lol.
We provided a vague “Luisa from Encanto” themed instruction and ended up with a masterpiece! My 6 yr old’s favorite “present” from his whole birthday was his cake, which was incredibly imaginative, well-executed, and delicious. We are so happy with our experience with Rebecca and Bee’s!
Bee's made my cake for my elopement and I could not be happier! They recommended champagne cake with lavender frosting and it was amazing! I was traveling from out of state, but they made everything super easy for me. Rebecca even went out the morning I was picking it up to get fresh flowers for the top! 10/10 experience :)
Got my daughters 4th birthday cake here. This bakery did better than we could’ve ever imagined & the cake tasted just as good as it looked. We will definitely be ordering from this place in the future.
