Don’t come here if you your visiting any where from the east coast. The bouncer looked at my ID for one second and took it away and said it was fake. I told him that’s what Pa IDs looks like look them up ? He said he doesn’t care and did t believe me. I ended up calling the police and they had to come talk to the bar the next day bc the bouncer said he was going to ship my ID somewhere. He lucky I didn’t have a plane to catch that morning. This place should hire bouncers that know how to check IDs.
Went to Bar Of The Gods for my first time last night around 11:30pm we are approaching the very inappropriate security guard he starts looking at my ID he makes a very disturbing comment towards myself and my friends to wish I do not want to post on here because of how disturbing it was but he should lose his job after doing so then after one drink me and my friends were so uncomfortable we just ended up leaving we will not be ever returning

Great local watering hole with stiff drinks, decent tap list and friendly staff. They didn't mind that we brought in a pizza from Apizza Scholls. An easy place to get your barfly on.
I would have never thought there was a Greek God theme if not for reading the description here lol. Stopped in here last weekend and was disappointed. Some kind of mule drink I ordered just wasn't good and I ended up tossing most of it. Bartender wasn't particularly nice but it was busy so wouldnt hold that against her, she should know how to make the featured drink though. Minimal draft beer selection, I think everything on tap was an IPA.HEY BARS! NOT EVERYONE LOVES IPAS!There might be some games but I didn't really even notice them, it's right next to Quarterworld so if you're going for arcade stuff that definitely has the better draw. Also, like with other places in Portland, wish they didn't ruin their microscopic outdoor seating area by allowing smoking.
If only I was hipster enough and also lived nextdoor I may have gotten better service and not looked at as if I were an alien. I don't have any reason to return.
This is a fantastic pillar of Portland that has been an operation since 1986. The bar keepers are amazing, friendly and attentive. I have lived in the hood for 2 years and only went in a few weeks ago. now in hooked. great prices and a friendly atmosphere. A must see whether you live here or if you are just visiting. Tell Kip, Aaron sent you.

They got giant 4 square in the back, I lost. Would've been mad but the hotdogs there are ?! Cheered me right up
