My Dad and I go here at least once a month. The fish and chips are out of this world. Glad I read previous reviews. I didn't know they had coleslaw. It taste great anytime of year, but I prefer going when the bands are playing and the sun is out.
The absolute BEST fish n' chips in the Portland/Vancouver area. Don't even try any where else.
They were so awesome with me! I was rushing from Seattle to make it before they close at 6pm. When I arrived 15 minutes before closing they already had a 'sold out' sign. I was so disappointed, but they were able to still offer me a 2-piece fish and chips. And actually was a 3 piece when I opened the box ?. Excellent service and great tasting food!
??Asked for a 2 piece got s 3 piece.?? Fries were amazing. I’m pescatarian so fries are a go-to for me and these were some of the best I’d ever had. They were my favorite part of the meal. Go, taste, support local.
I didn't get a picture this time, however sense I'll be coming back here for more grub I'll take a few for you peeps on the next one..This place has some of the best fish and chips hands down, with a side of coleslaw...I highly recommend this food cart for lunch,dinner or a date. They make you feel like home and your more then welcome. Thank you.
We drive all the way from The Dalles to eat here as it is the best place. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Anytime you are in the area you swing and eat.
Update: They respond quickly to customers concerns. So, I'm changing my review about that. The fish is the best in town. I have tried a lot of fish and chips places in Portland and always been disappointed, but Arlo's is amazing and we recommend to people a lot.
Had a three piece fish and chips. Absolutely phenomenal. Definitely coming back and highly recommend.
Ate at Arlo's a year ago while visiting our son in Portland. Went back today September 9, 2021 only to find that the Fries seem to have been changed. The fish was still good but did have a slight fishy smell that did not affect the taste. The big difference was the fries. They did not seem like the hand cut ones we enjoyed last year.
Arlo's Fish & Chips is the BEST for cod! The 4 pc serving was excellent for my husband and I. They're only open Thursday- Sunday though. Also, since they only make a certain quantity per day, they sell out by 6 pm. Phone in your order by 4 pm to get your dinner by 6:30 pm.
