Thought I had found the best pizza in Portland. That was before trying Apizza Scholl's. The crust is exactly how I like it: not quite thin or thick, crispy, on the dark side. The sauce and cheese were both very good as well. Love that they serve their pies dark, it's the only way to eat pizza. Now begins my journey of ordering from this joint far too frequently.

These pies are heavenly & be sure to get their Caesar salad (the dressing was divine).

Apizza Scholls is very good pizza...but not life changing. It is often in the top 5 of Portland pizza lists. I finally tried it. The joint is definitely popular. I ordered half Moxie and half New York white. One reviewer said the New York white was the most delicious pizza they ever had. We thought it was very plain. It needed more toppings and flavor for our taste. The moxie side was good. They have very nice red wine. I had the Montepulciano – La Quercia. It was bold, smooth and low tannin. Staff are friendly. Parking can be a challenge. We still like Flying Pie better.

We read the reviews and made sure we were in line at 4:30pm to secure a spot at a table when they opened at 5. The restaurant is tiny with only 6 tables, so we ended up eating at the bar, as the larger tables are reserved for groups of 4 or more. It was definitely worth the wait, the pizza had the perfect cheese to grease ratio and the toppings were fun. Yes, it doesn't compare to pizza from Italy, but it has been one of the best pizzas I've had in North America in a long time. The staff were also super friendly and service was quick!

Not sure what the couple of bad reviews were all about. What a joke is all i can say. I think anyone that can't taste the best pizza should just go get a Domino's that's what you deserve. The people that run and own this place are amazing and they have the best pizza I've ever had in my life and I'm 56 years old. Been to New York had pizza sent from New York and this place has the best flavors and most incredible crust ever not another place can hold a candle to my Favorite pizza place in this whole world, I"m a super foodie and I can't wait to go visit my son that just moved to Portland from Ca.First place I'll hit on the way back from the airport.Thank you to all the great people from the bartender to the waitress and the guy that brought out our pizza. I'm not sure what happened. I've had good pizza in NY, Chicago, and Italy. What I received was nothing like any of those offerings. The size and cut like a NY pizza with a crust that attempted at something like Italy. But so horribly chewy and flavorless that I'm still experiencing tooth pain. And it arrived cold. I don't mind cold pizza, and I realized I took the risk by having it delivered, but wow...cold and almost impossible to chew. And to make it all worse, it had no flavor. So, I won't be getting a pizza from here again.

I guess places that enjoy a cult following dont have to be goid, ethical or take pride in the quality of the food the send out. You already have everyone hoodwinked.so poor fools like me get excited to finally get to try a legendary pie from Apizza Scholls and it is burnt to a crisp with that acrid aftertaste everywhere. Not well down and browned but charred. Who enjoys eating burnt food? What kind of restaurant serves obviously burned , ruined pizza that even managed to somehow end up cold. Do not recommend but I'm sure you don't care. I see what you think is ok as y to serve the dumb masses. Pictures do not come close to fully showing how bad this pizza was.

Hands down the best pizza in Portland/Vancouver and honestly that I've ever had. We order 2 Paulie Gees every time. It's SO good. I usually can't wait to eat it and eat a couple slices in the car. Best chewy/crispy crust ever. Hand sliced mozzarella - what more do you want?Fantastic customer service - they're super friendly and accommodating. I've asked two times for special messages to my husband and they happily did it for us.Do yourself a favor run, don’t walk.

Hands down the best pizza in town. I think they have magic ingredients or a magic oven or something, but nothing can compare in Portland. My favorite is the salami and green olive. DELICIOUS!!!!!! My mouth waters just thinking about it. The crust is to die for. The service is always excellent. I think I need to order a pizza for tonight.

This was my first time here. We ordered the Margherita pizza and a side of olives. The pizza was absolutely amazing with a hint of garlic. The whole family really enjoyed it and I can't wait to go back and try more toppings. The olives were delicious as well. We played video games in the back while we waited for our food. 25 cents a game is a great deal and a fun way to kill time. We'll definitely be back!!
