Please support this little bakery run by two kind ladies! I live in the neighborhood, and this place is my ultimate comfort food. Whether I'm having a rough day, celebrating a success, or taking food for camping this small business wins for me everytime. If you're vegan the veggie meat (w/o mayo) is sooo delicious. Best bánh mì in portland hands down. Steam buns and spring rolls are fire too <3
Ordered the grilled chicken banh mi and it was really good. Can't wait to try their other sandwiches
The only reason this bakery does not have a better rating is due to its location. Next to the food trucks in a transitional neighborhood might put off some people. The croissants we had here were the best we’ve ever tasted (including in France). The Bahn Mi sandwiches were outstanding as were the black and white cookies, guava cookies and all flavors of macarons. Even the French coffees were great. There were lines of people out the door on Sunday when we were there around 11am. If you haven’t been here, give it a try. Wow!

This store’s bad service should get this bad review!The old lady with short hair who work there , she is a lier and says me cut the line. Actually I never(can see from the camera records) . I have been this restaurant for many times, though many times they delay the order, I never complain and never write a bad review.But this time, I am very disappointed with this store. I can’t bear the old lady who works here is a lier! She has no basic respect. The restaurant’s bad service should get the bad reviews! Before I always bought their products from supermarket, but from now I won’t buy any of their products ! And never go to this store again!
Amazing and authentic bakery and sandwich shop that has somehow endured the mass gentrification of Portland and the Powell/Foster neighborhoods.Solid prices and amazing product! Staff are always super nice to me and the quality has always been consistent. One of the true gems of Portland, have been going since middle school.
Great Asian baked goods! I love their fresh cream buns. Tastes like my childhood. A disappointed by the Vietnamese coffee drink. There were too much ice in it, so not worth the price.
Sadly Disappointed :(By far one of our favorite places in the Portland area. Very moist cakes with amazing flavor! Unfortunately we had a very bad experience today…We purchased a Sponge Cupcake from the Asian Family Market and found a very long hair baked into the cake. We would buy two cakes weekly and will no longer purchase these Spongecakes :(. Nothing nastier than biting into a cake and finding a hair baked all the way through :( We are disappointed and were very hopeful for this bakery… Just be careful with your bites, hopefully this does not happen to you.
Delicious treats at unbelievably reasonable prices. The banh mi are seriously stacked and I could eat a mountain of the BBQ bao. Curry pan is also a favorite!The owners are sweet people, too. I hope this place never goes away.
I visit this bakery every time I am in Portland. They make amazing bahn mi sandwiches, and they make a very tasty veggie “meat”! I love this bakery and highly recommend it!
