The food was delicious, and the standout was the fried chicken bao. I also loved the 4 piece of dumplings, so yummy! I got a kid sized ramen because I was dining solo.I went on a Tuesday at 11:50 am and it was maybe one third full. I used the online ordering system and the food took about 20 min to arrive. I can't imagine how long the wait would be when it's full. I would go back but be prepared to wait! Self serve tepid water.
Came here for the first time because it’s right next to our apartment. Really enjoyed the food but the service was interesting - order on your phone and the food came out pretty slow. Ordered the seaweed salad, spicy tori karaage, Kakuni pork bun (our favorite), steamed gyoza, and yuzu shoyu. The pork bun was amazing and we enjoyed the ramen as well. Everything else was good, just nothing that blew us away. Would come back!
The food was great. Only 4 stars because of their ordering system. Since the pandemic I've used numerous versions of phone based ordering. Theirs did not work well at all. We started by seating ourselves and ordered some beverages while we looked at the rest of the menu. The app said the order was placed and I pressed "order more". A long time passed with no beverages so we thought maybe they would come with the food order that we placed about 10 minutes after the drink order. After about 15 more minutes the food arrived, still no drinks, so we asked about it. They checked and said the order never went through. I showed them the order on my phone and they brought them. Slightly annoying but in the end, it was fine. It would have been avoided if their servers came around to check on people, like traditional service. When we were done and closing the tab, the app added a mandatory 15% tip which you cannot alter, and then a suggested 25% tip on top of that. If I hadn't noticed, I would have left a $19 tip on a $49 bill. I am always a generous tipper, but considering their servers act more like food deliverers and never came back to check on us, I think 40% is excessive. Again, the food was great and the service was fine for what it was, but their ordering system tarnished the experience a lot.
Very tasteful, good vibes, friendly staff, we enjoyed it. The homemade ginger ale is nice. Would recommend to friends.
Very authentic and very delicious. Definitely worth a visit and when you're done and n he'd something sweet, Voodoo Doughnuts is right next for. A win win
We stopped here because we needed something warm. We enjoyed everything we ordered here. The ramen was good and tasty. I like my ramen to have a kick with spice so I ordered the tan tan men. I asked for extra spicy oil for extra spice. It was good and the noodles were great. We also had the ton katsu, which was also good but less flavorful than the first for sure. The crispy gyoza were good and we really enjoyed the sauce it canes with. The fried chicken bun was probably our favorite since it had a tad of freshness with the cucumber that is inside.EstablishmentNice and friendly staff. It’s modern inside and they have a tech forward ordering computer.DrinksAll very refreshing although my favorite was their non alcoholic drinks specially the ginger ale!
Not sure how thier rating isn't higher. My guess is during rush people get impatient. The rum drink is one of the most refreshing liquor drinks I've ever had. And the ramen, oh the ramen. Got the tonkatsu, so damn good, and the buns are amazing. Always going to come back.
I really enjoyed my dinner here. The Tonkotsu Shio ramen was excellent. The only disappointment was the dumplings we had. There was just a lack of flavor with them, and the sauce that came with was just hot, not much for flavor. Over all I will definitely eat here again, just without the dumplings.Visit 2, I really wanted to try a different ramen, but I enjoyed the Tonkotsu so much that I ordered it again. I did however find another great taste! The soft shell crab bun was amazing! It had a nice spiciness to it. So because of these two wonderful dishes I am raising my review to 5 stars!
Our first visit here. The ramen was delicious! The gyozas were alright. It was a different experience ordering everything on a screen but I enjoyed making my mea exactly how I liked it. It’s kind of seat yourself, open seating but they only allowed so many people to be seated. Nice staff and would come again.
If you put together good flavors, ramen turns into an orchestra.
