One of the most uniques bars in Portland. Great vibes, great atmosphere, great drinks. visited Portland for a week and went there at least once a day , sometimes multiple while on vacay.
This was probably the most fun I’ve had at a bar in awhile. The bar is as rough around the edges as possible, but between the quirky art work everywhere, the wonderful bartender, and the embrace of social cigarette smoking (the bar sells American blues and greens), this is a pleasant alternative to most bars in town.
This place is a must visit for PDX. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. The owner, Peggy is wonderful. Looking forward to the next visit.
Was about to go but I saw vax proof required. This doesn't make sense to me since if you beat covid you have higher antibodies then a vaxxed person? Unless they are just pro big pharma? Either way bad vibes.
This place was pretty artsy. I love art myself but with art comes very artsy people. Love the record very much. Very original pieces of art with cool accents. Recommend you stop here if you like art and a good drink.
A friend and I went to this place because the Basement was closed.Disappointed it was cash only from the start. The drinks here were super cheap. My tequila sunrise tasted like vanilla extract and Sunny Delight orange drink. My friends G&T was just as bad.I wouldn't describe this place as artsy. The decor is trashy and the drinks are cheap and nasty. The furniture smells dirty. If you enjoy a craft cocktail this isn't the place for you.
Such a wonderful place and vibe. Staff is always super kind. Always feel very comfortable here.
This bar unfairly requests vax proof for BIPOC and not for white passing individuals. I witnessed multiple instances of discriminatory policy enforcement and will never patronize this establishment again.
Loved the artwork and the cool decorations. The atmosphere was perfect for a late night and the Margaritas were delicious. It is a nice place to chill and chat without much fuss or hassle. Worth a visit. Remember, CASH ONLY!
This is a very chill bar! My first question upon entering was whether they had all the tchotchkes when they opened or if it was a collection over time, the bar tender responded with showing me a picture of the bar when they first opened with NONE of them! The cozy and busy atmosphere makes it a unique place. The drinks are very reasonably priced and yummy with awesome local options. Definitely recommend
