Very good pizza in St. Johns. Plenty of toppings. The crust is very good. It's a thinner chewier crust w a nice edge crust to dip in sauce if you like crust. Garlic knots were perfect little garlic bread bites. We did a pick up order for work dinner and I think we spent $40 w tip. Everyone loved the big bacon end pieces. Nice touch. We will definitely be ordering again soon.
Ordered through DoorDash, and as you can see from the picture, there's hardly any Pepperoni on the thing. There also wasn't any sauce, or at least none that I or my friends could tell.
BEWARE: FOOD WON'T ARRIVECould work on customer service and general, I don't know, awareness? Ordered via DoorDash, order said 'completed' but no order arrived. Call to the store (which happened to be maybe 20 min to close since I ordered late) and the guy on the phone says, "yeah, I see that the order has been completed but it's right here... so do you want to come pick it up? we close soon" Seriously? If you can see the order was 'completed' then wouldn't you think to question why it was 'picked up' if its right in front of you? Maybe call when that 'completed' notification came through? Someone is clearly trying to steal meals or doesn't have enough common critical thought. Come on...
We ordered through door dash and we did not get our complete order. Both parties are probably to blame. Ordered 2 pizzas, One of the dessert pizzas and 2 salads. They do not have all of their menu items available on door dashs vs their website menu. We were wanting the house salad and a caprese salad which is listed on the website menu, but it's not offered on door dash. Added a comment on our salad order( spinach) to see if they would give us a house and a caprese salad. We got 2 spinach, which was fine. But we were looking forward to a house salad andcaprese. When the door dash delivery guy came he only had 2 of the pizzas. The pepperoni and dessert pizza. We were missing the other pizza and 2 salads. I asked the delivery guy and he said that is all they gave him. Now he should have looked at my order to see there were other items. So he was very nice and went back k to get the rest of our order. He called and stated they had the salads but had to make the other pizza we ordered( potato pizza) not sure why it was not done!!! When they delivered it , it was burnt!! And our salads didn't have the dressings. Not a very good first impression.
I’ve ordered from 48 North on a number of occasions, but they rarely get it right. This time it was a soggy lukewarm pizza and forgot to add the sauces I ordered despite paying for them. The last time it was a regular pizza when I ordered a gluten free pizza, so we had to go out and get something else for my guests. When they get it right, the pizza is tasty. But I shouldn’t have to gamble on a $30 pizza and I’m sick of being disappointed.
Seem to be going down hill. I used to order from them all the time. A few months ago there was a piece of glass in my Apple pizza, they said bring it back for an exchange (which I really didn’t want to at that point) so gave me an $8 gift card instead. A piece of glass. Like, come on, a free pizza would have been cool. Recently the last two times the pizza was cold (picked up) and there was barely any cheese. Don’t know if there’s a new manager/owner or what but not the same place I loved a year ago. Super bummed now and I don’t want to order anymore ?
Wanted to try out a new pizza place tonight and was excited to see so many vegan options on the menu. Hopefully this means they know what to do. This was certainly not the case.Vegans beware. This is the kind of vegan pizza where they just throw on some random brand of vegan cheese thinking it's normal cheese. A goopy white glob of vegan cheese half an inch thick over the whole pizza.Being consern about this happening, I even specifically asked for them to go easy on the fake cheese. A little goes a long way. No luck on them taking that request into account. To top it off, the dough was also undercooked. Literally inedible.
Some of the best vegan pizzas in Portland. The staff here are so charming and welcoming, only adding to the overall experience. Not the cheapest, but worth every penny. Highly recommended.
The food was decent. The sauce used on the margarita pizza really was too roasted for my taste. The BBQ chicken pizza was very good. They charged us 20% because we ordered over $80 and this just destroyed any value. Do yourself a favor, order under this amount or make two separate orders, you'll like it better.
It's ok. Portland's best pizza? ...umm noWe've tried this place over and over again but its not great. Location is cool and we want it to succeed, but the deliverables just aren't awesome. It's ok pizza, for a high price. Want something awesome? Go to ranch in dekum.
