I've always been under the impression that there are two types of people in this world: coffee shop people and bar people. 40lbs combines both with a sense of style and elegance that is truly unmatched. Whether you're looking to grab a quick in-house made to-order sando (that's what they're called, I'm not trying to be hip), sip a handcrafted latte, or drink wine solo after being dismissed early from jury duty (me!)... you'll find a comfortable seat here. The staff is delightful and if I lived closer by, I'd definitely have a punch card.

Great for a lunch+hangout
Friendly staff, good wifi, great coffee. I was here on a Wednesday and it was not very loud or busy. Great location if you are looking for a place to get some work done while sipping good coffee

Triple cappuccino and a savory tomato croissant! Upscale breakfast on my not so luxurious ride taking max train to work at airport. Delicious comforts for a dreary day.
Super cool spot that serves both coffee and cocktails. The vibe in here is nice and pleasant. I had the London Fog and friend ordered the matcha Cafe. Next time I will try out a cocktail.
Beautiful coffee shop and bar. Delicious latte and Bánh mì was spectacular. A good spot for digital nomads.

A lovely place to sit and grab a coffee or get one to go. They have the best Americanos I’ve gotten anywhere as well as delicious pastries. On top of all that, kind baristas. Highly recommend.
