Great place to stop by for if you have a sweet tooth. I got the seasonal flavor but everything is so sweet I didn't taste too much of the pistachio. Each order comes with a wet wipe so don't be afraid to dig in. It will be especially useful when your long hair somehow catches the goo. Crackers are handmade so not sold separately on the menu. I asked and they said they would throw a couple in a bag for $1 each.
It's a nicely designed place, with its camping theme and all. The staff is friendly and tries their best to serve everyone. The issue is, that unless you're into waiting for about 45 minutes, to watch someone use a butane torch to roast your marshmallow, chances are, you will not like this experience. The time invested for the "reward/experience" and I'm not even including the price here, is not worth it.If you're looking for just a tasty s'more and do not want to wait that long to get it, you should really consider your decision, because at the end of the day, it's a s'more and not a mind blowing dessert.
This place is amazing!!!! I really wish we had one in Sacramento, CA (please come here!!). It is a small shop that makes s'mores, hot chocolate, and espresso. They have about 8 variations of s'mores to choose from and they toast them in front of you. They even toast all sides of the marshmallow! They are in convenient little trays so you can take them to go. They do have a couple barstools in the window you can eat at or some outside seats. And they include wet wipes for easy clean up. Much appreciated! The make everything in house except for the peanut butter. And it is alllll good. We got the Original 1927 and the Caramel Mocha s'mores to share. They were both really good and definitely worth the calories. And also go hot chocolates that had whipped cream, toffee bits and some toasted marshmallows. Absolutely awesome! The shop is also really cute with a cabin/state park theme. They have kits to purchase or you can order online.I could not recommend this more. Go! You will not be disappointed!!!
delicious hot chocolate. Great service and amazing and unique dessert. Homemade graham cracker, homemade marshmallow... It was fantastic!
Really fun experience but would’ve loved to have it be more immersive. I kinda pictured it as a cocktail/sit down place. I definitely would’ve bought a drink, a s’more, and even some marshmallow-themed appetizers or something like that. I really think the concept could be expanded! Regardless, the homemade graham crackers were so yummy I want to try to make some myself! Never knew how bad the store bought kind were until I tried a homemade version. Also, the employees were very nice and helped us find a place to eat for dinner!
Best s’mores ever! Will definitely be coming back.
What a treat. The space is creatively done; it felt nice to experience a warm and inviting shop with a cozy feeling. We each enjoyed different treats. I was a little disappointed when we ordered Americano coffees and asked for more cream. We were given small vanilla-flavored to-go items. I would suggest other offerings considering the treat was sweet enough.
I can’t believe I haven’t left a review, because this is one of my favorite dessert places in Portland! S’mores are my FAVORITE so I was thrilled when I found this place. There are so many yummy variations of s’mores and hot chocolate and they seem to change it up pretty regularly with seasonal flavors. I’ve never had a wait like others mentioned but I do agree it’s a bummer that there isn’t anywhere to sit inside.
VEGAN SMORES?!?!?!?! This place is phenomenal!!!! The vibe and ambiance is top tier, you step inside and are transported to a camp site with Disneyland splash mountain energy ( in a good fantasy nature forward way not the bad stuff) its so fun, the have a great menu and you get to watch the staff make your smores right in front of you that makes you feel like an excited kid. And they have VEGAN SMORES!!!!!! I haven't had smores in over ten years and it wasn't a phoned in token after thought, it was delicious! I'm not usually a sweets person but I guzzled down every crumb and had to stop myself from licking the wax paper. My partner got the whiskey salted caramel and was just as impressed. This place is a big deal, like this is going to be huge and it deserves it.
I enjoyed this place. They basically make the smore for you. I rated for less because the chocolate used comes from a squeeze bottle. Also, the smore was not very warm. The service was excellent. The flavors were decent. I probably wouldn't go back because I could make them better at home.
