Wasn't a good experience. Ordered a takeout order on mother's day. When I got there I waited for about 45 minutes for my food to be ready. My pie shakes were melted and when I got home one of my burgers was missing. I drove all the way back to Shari's, trying to call but getting no answer on the way. When I got there I told the woman that one of my burgers was missing and she said " Well, you're not the only one right now" I asked her if she could make my impossible burger. She told the woman working in the kitchen to make 2 burgers, one impossible and one regular with eggs and bacon on top. She had to say it like four times because the woman in the kitchen was clearly English as a second language and was working the kitchen all by herself on what is probably one of the most busiest Sundays of the year. I asked her if I could please have a free pie since I had to drive all the way back and wait again a second time. She said yes and proceeded to cut me a slice of pie. I told her I wanted a whole pie because I had to come all the way back there and she offered to buy me a pie. I told her I did not want the pie to come out of her personal money I wanted Shari's to buy me a pie. She had to ask her manager who then said, "well everyone's had to wait today. But I guess, I don't care." She said it in a super snotty way. The restaurant was totally understaffed. There were only three people working the entire restaurant and I felt really bad for the girl who was trying to get my order together. She was very nice. When I got home I found that my impossible Burger was not an impossible burger and had an egg and some hash browns on it. The other four burgers in my order had jalapenos and eggs on them and they were supposed to be plain cheeseburgers. I will never go back to that Sherry's again. However the marionberry cheesecake pie that I was given was delicious.
Placed an order at 12:20 for two omelettes. Was told they would be ready in 20 minutes. Showed up to get my food. Waited, waited, waited and waited. They got folks food at the tables but I guess do not prioritize people who have already placed an order. I did not get my food for an hour. If I would have been sitting down I would have never waited an hour. Michelle was the manager on duty. When I asked for the status of my order I was literally given a dirty look and acted like I didn’t have the right to ask. Never again. The rudeness and blatant disregard for my time.
I had my meal delivered through Uber Eats. The food was barely edible. The sourdough toast was barely toasted, the scrambled eggs I ordered came sunnyside up and the potato scramble was very greasy, the potatoes were practically raw. I will never order here again.
A little dirty and outdated. The food was as expected.*Dropping from 3 stars to 2 stars after going to the Sheri’s in Vancouver Chaklov, which was AMAZING!It’s crazy that both restaurants are allowed to have the same name! I will gladly drive 30 minutes to go to the Vancouver Chaklov location.
Its truly sad when Shari's disappoints. I mean, being a Shari's, I did not expect great food or even average service. I expected something I could eat and nearly bottom of the barrel service. What we got was so bad that we stood up after the first bite and left. Getting to that first bite was an ordeal in itself. There were MAYBE 3 other customers in the entire place and 4 or 5 servers that would rarely leave their coffee prep area. We could watch the other families pop their heads out of their booths looking for assistance, but none was to be found. Whatever the staff was doing on their phone must have been more important. It took almost 30 min to place our order and at least twice that to get it. Even when we left, we had intended to talk to a manager or at least a person at the front counter. No one was to be found and we TRIED! Considering we only took one bite each, we didn't feel like we were doing anything wrong so we just left. We will not return.
There is only three customers in the building. There is three waitresses. She never came back to ask to refill the coffee. The soup tastes terrible chicken noodle probably about 6 noodles only. I heard her tell the quick we need more. The grilled ham and cheese sandwich was too greasy or/battery. Over all that experience.
The refrigeration was down so the first 3 things we ordered weren't available. No pies, again because of the refrigeration situation. Secondly, my husband really gave them a thumbs down when our bill was placed on the table before we even had a chance to take a bite. Not a pleasant experience. ?
The all too important waitress there wouldn't honor my buddy's temporary ID card even though it's LEGITIMATE form of ID.. so yeah.. I'll just pass this place up next time..
