Greetings,Wanted some classic American food and have driven by different Mike's Drive In locations many times, so decided to try them out.Bacon cheeseburger was okay: the flavor was bland and couldn't finish it. One of my kids had the Chipotle Jalapeño burger and really liked it.Fries were really good and enjoyed the deep fried mushrooms.Am willing to try out one of their burgers again. Maybe will get the spicy offering next time or the Mushroom Swiss ?.
The coffee latte mixed with butterfinger milkshake is the best! Their large size is huge! Not a fan of their tater tots, too soft and not crunchy enough.
This is quite the little hidden gem. Service was amazing and the burgers were outstanding!
Food was delicious. First time here. Got their ice cream cone after to finish it off..yums!
A local favorite. Come for the food and stay for the ultimate milkshakes. The halibut and scallop basket made for a tasty lunch.
Our food was sloppy and squished. My husband couldn't bring him self to even eat his burger, it looked like some just grabbed it and squished it with there fist. My garden burger was stale tasting and the the fish I paid extra for was pathetic.We used love Mike's and now I don't think we'll ever be eating here again.
Wow this place has great food! Reasonable prices and pleasant service, we will be back to try more menu items. My BLT was perfection and my husband's scallops were very tender. Exceptional soft serve made from real ice cream, and onion rings were among the best I have had.
It was my families first time here, and we were so excited to try it out.After being “greeted” by a gruff man who basically yelled at us that we were ordering in the wrong spot.After apologizing and going inside to order in the correct spot, the same man took our order. Before I could even finish what I wanted to get, he would cut me off with an “anything else?!” I made the mistake of asking for a coke, and was told “it’s self serve” in such a tone, I felt like I was being scolded.I love supporting drive ins, and I am constantly going to Granny’s, Jim Dandy’s and was hoping to add Mikes to my list. After this experience, I’ll never go back and won’t ever refer this place to my guests (I work at a popular hotel in the area, and several times a day I am recommending restaurants around the area) I’ll be sure to share my experience.Horrible.
Food was 5 stars. Staff was 5 stars. Price was expensive, one bathroom was out of service and the other bathroom was filthy dirty. This is a super fun and super busy/popular locally owned burger, shake and fries place. It has a fun old-fashioned vibe.
