Great food! Great service! I came in to the restaurant the day before with a list of 30 orders that I needed for the next morning before 7 AM and everyone was super helpful and made it happen and and we got our food for our meeting the next morning on time! Great job Don Chico's staff!!
Went to do chicos tonight and ordered a bunch of tacos, halfway home and realized They forgot two of my tacos.so I called to make sure it was OK that I turned around to pick them up and they said yes so I turned around . When I got there I told them about the missing tacos and they questioned me acted like I was lying and laughed in my face and the three women who were working the counter all surrounded me …just laughing and I asked them what was funny and they just said take your tacos. I left the restaurant almost in tears because of how rude they were and how much they laughed in my face. Most of my friends love this place and a bunch of us go there all the time but I will be spreading the word on how rude they were to me and they will never see me or any of my friends again
Best authentic taqueria style dining I've had in Oregon. Salsa bar is always fresh, cold, and on point! I love this place.
Tasty al pastor burritos at reasonable prices. On my way out of the store my take out bag tore at the bottom dropping my food in the mud and they replaced my burrito for free, no questions asked. Very kind of them. I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys Mexican cuisine.
Tastes good but a couple concerns:Nothing was hot enough for the shredded cheese on top to even begin melting. You might want to check the temperature settings on the equipment used to hold food ready before that causes a problem. If the beans ever start tasting like someone mixed in applesauce, you’ve already got a problem.I ordered a Chile relleno. I received a Chile poblano. They are different. Still tasty, but different. It was a pretty good chile poblano.Staff was friendly. The reply from the owner is clearly automated as it appeared within seconds of leaving this review.
Here's your place for authentic Mexican food as best a white dude can judge (I did live in Texas for 20+ years). Way too many choices for the first-timer so politely let the regulars pass while you decide.
This place has real Mexican food! A salsa bar with jalapeños as self serve. Great set up and it’s very clean. Good bang for your buck… I feel Right at home, they are very friendly…
Best take out Mexican food in Oregon City. Carnitas are my favorite! All the salsas are terrific too!
Really good food, but get their orders wrong too consistently. Cashier will read the order back to you correctly but once it's given out it's wrong anyway. Replies to reviews seem to be automated which seems pretty disingenuous and makes it all the more likely they'll keep getting orders wrong.
I ordered a call in. 30 min later came to grab it. And they hadn't even made it. Proceeded to give out food to others and I ended up waiting 15 min when I got there it. The women were rude and didn't seem to care that they didn't make my call in order at all! The point in calling in an order is to arrive and have it be ready, not wait while people who came in after you order and get their food! I will be making the trip to Mulino to the Mexican restaurant there for my food from here on!
