A great little cafe right off of the highway.I only stopped here to kill time, but I would love to come back here. They have a decent selection of books to choose from, just to complete the cozy cafe vibe.Entering the cafe I expected to get a simple cappuccino, but looking at the large selection of flavored mochaccinos I ordered the "Grasshopper Mochaccino" and the "Viva a la Veggie" in a wrap. The food was excellent and served promptly on a. Little plate with chips and a pickle. During this time I admired the architecture and enjoyed a podcast next to a window which displayed the highway. My drink was placed on the counter up front and my name was called. The waiting time was so low I hadn't anticipated the drink, I was still left to my thoughts. This has to be one of the best mochaccinos I've ever had. Not too hot, great amount of foam, not far from what I expected but just the right amount of surprise. If you ever find yourself looking for coffee in Newberg, check out this little place. They have a drive thru and they're privately owned, so support a local business.
What a lovely place for coffee! It’s spacious with lots of nooks, kind of like a community living room. Wonderful outdoor garden seating. Highly recommended
Super impressed with this cute place - the employees were so friendly and the food made fresh tasted hearty and homegrown. Definitely one of my top 5 coffee spots.
The food and drinks are really good but both of my first times here I found a blonde hair in my food and another time on my whip cream of my smoothie. You guys need more hygienic staff. I will not be returning to this place due to finding hair in my order both times.
I was here a few days ago and would like this place if I didn’t find hair in my food or in the whip cream of my smoothie. You guys should really wear hair nets. I threw away my whole meal and wasted $30, definitely not coming back and I do not recommend anyone eat here.
The Greek pasta salad with chicken was delicious option for a light lunch before wine tasting. Adorable little coffee shop. Lots of outdoor seating. We easily found a parking spot on the street. Leave yourself plenty of time — the wait was unexpectedly long.
Awesome place. Delicious drinks and very friendly staff! Super refreshing overall. Got me back into drinking coffee at a shop every morning, their house blend is really that good. Tons of food options too and amazing venue building. Right in the best part of town too!
Five stars simply isn’t enough!! We stopped by here while visiting the area and just WOW. Breakfast sandwiches aren’t usually earth shattering but the breakfast bagel with the aioli is just *chefs kiss*. My husband got the wrap and also loved it! we are huge coffee snobs and not satisfied with the average cup of coffee, so we were also over the moon that their coffee was such high quality. If I lived here I would be a regular!! 10/10! In addition to all of that, the employees were super kind and patient!
Lives up to its outstanding reputation. We had a veggie wrap and a slice of vegetarian quiche. Two excellent Americanos, plus a cranberry scone and a Marionberry scone. All outstanding! Gonna be our new. Hangout in Newberg Oregon.
This is the second time I have been to The Coffee Cottage, the first was simply to go thru the drive thru for coffee. This time we stopped in for a coffee and to soak in some rare sun on there huge outdoor patio area. What a great home feel coffee shop. I didn’t realize how large of a seating area there was, not how extended the outdoor patio and seating area are also. The biggest surprise, how many food options they offer with great service to match. The menu is massive, and offers a ton of different options. From the drink menu with shakes, smoothies, coffees and specialty drinks…to the food menu having snack breakfast options like muffins and burritos. We enjoyed our time today, sitting in the sun outdoors under the trees, and drinking a hot coffee with amazing flavor. They know how to make a coffee shop feel.
