They have consistently good food. Breakfast is always great! For lunch have the chicken strips. So, so good! Friendly staff, too!
I came in with my wife they were extremely busy!!! my wife and I got sat at the same time with three other tables with our waitress so she was not able to get to us for roughly 30 minutes despite the 30-minute wait she was very attentive continue to check in with us to let us know where she was in the process of being able to get to us she brought me two drinks (30 minutes later because she was getting drinks along with orders for previous simultaneous tables!!!) one with ice and one without stating she was not sure when she would be able to get back to refill our drinks I thought it was very thoughtful I never needed a refill I ordered the New York steak I was almost done with the steak and the waitress noticed me sawing away (I don't like to return food because of time) she immediately went to management and returned stating unfortunately she couldn't do anything to accommodate my bill because I'd eaten the steak. She was incredibly apologetic and stated she wished she could do something to accommodate us we left her a $50 tip despite the quality of food and management being dismissing, service was amazing!!!
We absolutely love this place. The breakfast is great (minus the sourdough toast, which is more like a thick piece of undercooked Texas toast/bread...we prefer regularly sliced and crispy), and my 2 sons have to come weekly for their chicken caesar, which they say is the best they've ever had. Great, kind staff. Our favorite "local" spot...we live in Sherwood, so only 10 min away).
Breakfast, lunch or dinner 24 hrs availability. Philly cheesesteaks are good but more like a French dip. Very lean beef. Quite good quality. The fish and chips are nice but batter a bit thick and too crunchy for me but flavor is good. Great service. Very attentive and friendly. Fair prices.

Has the 2022 YCAP fundraiser Meltdown sandwich which was very good without the ranch dressing. Side was a good salad.
We had a newer waitress tonight named Jordan.She went above and beyond by decorating her tables. Sometimes it's the little touches that make a difference. Way to make us customers feel special. I surely hope you're boss knows all the extras you do. Such a friendly person. We hope to see you again for dinner.
Absolutely lovely place! The food was exquisite, the atmosphere was inviting, there were a wide variety of options to choose from, and the staff were very friendly. Shout out to Jordan, who is probably the best waitress I've had in my life. J's is definitely the best restaurant in Newberg that I've been to when it comes to special occasions. A bit on the pricy side, but you definitely get above and beyond what you pay for.10/10, would highly recommend.
Everything!! Their big salads, the omelets, incinerated bacon just the way we like it, great coffee, but especially the friendly, excellent service! Thank you!
Went in at dinner time, with my boyfriend and we were seated by a server by the name of Kim. We found her to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. We had excellent service and found that this particular server really cared about her customers checking on her customers making sure their needs were met and plenty of refills. It's so nice to see. You rarely see customer service in this capacity. It was excellent and we tipped our server quite well due to her excellent service to us. We will be back since we had such an excellent time and dining experience. Thank you Kim for such great service and food and drinks. .
