3 weeks ago we bought 3 pizzas we were very pleased with them. So tonight we order another one. It was just the opposite. It lacked sauce the crust was soggy the edges were burnt. I have had better frozen pizzas. most certainly not a $31.00 pizza

Absolutely delicious food! Amazing vegan options as well as your “average” pies.Good beer and wine to choose from or kombucha and other drinks available as well.Cute environment. The staff was kind and helpful and welcoming.Apparently they’re pretty new to the area (opened last October). They’re still in the process of setting up their outdoor eating space but I bet that will be awesome when it’s ready. (I took a sneak peek, it looks really nice!)

Our first time here and we loved the pizza. Crust was delicious. Loved the sauce and basil. Got the Monday pizza special and a supreme pizza. Yummy. Fabulous place to go. Friendly staff. Thank you

We wanted to try 48 North Pizzeria because we heard the wings were fantastic. We arrive at the restaurant to order some wings and a pizza for take-out. While looking through the menu, we see a small purple sticky note saying “no wings today.” We picked a pizza to order and decided maybe to try wings next time. We placed our order and then wanted to double check that wings were not available. The employee told us that the fryer was down. I asked if it would be forever?! The employee then told us that to replace the fryer and “bring it up to code” would be far too costly (30k to be exact). We waited about 40 minutes for our 1 pizza and 1 order of garlic knots. Finally we received our order and headed to the car. Once at the car we opened the box for the pizza. Immediately, the pizza (just shy of $30) was very underwhelming. The crust was nearly flat and the ingredients were sporadic at best. We opened the box of garlic knots and were equally disappointed. They were barely buttered at all and had a tiny bit of cheese sprinkled on top, which didn’t stick to them at all since they were nearly dry. They also forgot our side of ranch, which we paid an extra for ($0.50). An “up charge” for a side of ranch is silly when you’re spending $40. If we wanted 6 or 7 sides, I can maybe see it.Newberg has some pretty good pizza restaurants. To be competitive with them, 48 North needs to make some improvements.

This is the best new restaurant in Newberg. My wife and I went yesterday to try out and we were pleasantly surprised. The pizzas (garlic kale and hot wing) were perfectly cooked with the right amount of sauces and crisp on the crusts. We will for sure go back as well as order for takeout whenever we are feeling like pizza at home. Hands down the best pizza in Newberg and a very welcomed new addition. We do hope they get their outdoor patio open soon!

I absolutely hate writing a bad review for any business, but we have had two terrible experiences here. The first time we ordered online for pick up, it was over 30 min late and when we got home realized the forgot our salad. I emailed and called but never got any reply. So I was out $9. I really wanted to give them a second try so we tried again tonight. Still late - we were told 45 min and it wasn’t ready for another 20 after we arrived. The pizza was really not good. The margarita pizza just so much sauce and little basil flakes with small burned cheese rounds. The King Ranch pizza was so salty you couldn’t eat it. And the worst was that we ordered the Kale salad, but when we got home they had made the spinach walnut salad - and I am allergic to walnuts. So again I am out $9. I called the restaurant and they blamed the person who took the order because it was his last night and “he didn’t give a crap”. They offered to make a new salad and I said I wouldn’t drive back down there for just a salad. And the guy on the phone was so rude. He said “I don’t know what you want me to do about it.” Overall I am so disappointed in the service and quality here. There are much better pizza choices in Newberg and I would not recommend eating at 48 north. I would also recommend that the owner/manager invest in some customer service training.

Best pizza in Newberg, beautiful location, great wine and beer selection and overall we had a 5 star experience. This place is exactly what Newberg needed and we're so glad they are here. We also can't wait for their outdoor area to open.

I was super excited for this place after seeing other review pictures of their pizza which look delicious, apparently I didn’t come on the right night? I called and placed an order for pick up. My first issue is whatever is on the menu online is NOT what this location has. There were a couple of things I tried to order that this location doesn’t have… the second is after getting home I discovered the breadsticks were pretty much burnt, I understand “wood fired”, but I feel like what I received (especially compared to other location reviews/pictures) is on a different level, only a couple of them were “edible”, these would be amazing if they weren’t so burnt. And lastly, I ordered the Margherita Pizza and the only complaint I have about it was there wasn’t enough sauce. Some slices had barely any sauce on them, so I guess ask for extra marinara. I loved the pizza crust! (That was the only thing saving it from being a complete disaster) overall from this experience it was too pricey. I am really hoping to come here again but not for a while until hopefully some things get figured out. I kind of got the vibe from one employee that they didn’t want to be there and I was bothering them… there was only 4 customers in the restaurant when I was there, and the other one seemed a little “lost/clueless” and I am assuming because they are new which I completely understand.

I moved to Newberg about 5 years ago and this place has the best pizza and lots of taps of craft beer. It's classy, very clean and the customer service is spot on. I've been twice now and plan to return at least once a week. The combination of the pizzeria and wine bar is a perfect combination. The pizza has been perfectly baked each time. Love this place.

Very, very poor pizza. Ordered 3 different pies and all came with crusts burned black. Like another reviewer we understand and like wood-fired and occasional tasty black bubbles, but this was way over the line. Crust is thick and dense, kind of like pretzel dough, chewy, undercooked, white and flavorless under the toppings and black all around the edges. The red sauce on two of the pizzas tasted sugar sweet and the caramelized onions on the kale and garlic were overly, super-sweet as well. All parties were so disappointed the majority was thrown away. Yuck! Definitely not going back unless they change their recipes significantly. Two stars because the guy who handed me the boxes was nice. That's worth something, right? Right.
