I’ve driven by this spot like a thousand times and I finally decided to stop and check it out.Let me tell you that it was pretty damn good. The burgers were fresh, the fries crispy and the soda came with crushed ice (my favorite).We did go on a Sunday right around noon so I would recommend placing your order beforehand so you don’t have to wait.I recommend stopping in sometime.
This is a long time staple of the area. My to-be Father-in-law took me here (more than 30 years ago) to get take out for the family. The fish is halibut, the Mikes Special burger is great and the onion rings about the best there is. However!, you gotta get the shakes and make them Old Fashioned. Don’t be surprised if there is a wait, they get busy.
This is a very well established fast food restaurant for the area and holds a lot of nostalgia in the Milwaukie set. Sometimes you can only wonder if they coast on that reputation? Their food is good, fries are half decent, milkshakes/ice creams are great.Some might be thinking a big 'so what?'. I'd put it in the if it isn't broke don't fix it.I've noticed since they've lost some of their other locations that unlike other drive-ins this has not led to a loss of quality service or innovation. This is an drive-in style fast food that still works.

Never had a bad experience at Mike's. Been eating and waiting in this line repeatedly for decades now and their food is worth the wait so is the icecream and milk shakes. Old fashioned delicious food burgers onion rings seafood etc i love this lil diner...
I come here for the banana ? split and the large strawberry ? shake! Cheeseburgers ? are also on my list of yummy food from Mike's. I like to visit more often than I probably should!!☺
There's two Mike's, and this is the one in Milwaukee.You can be expected to have a lot wait, but the fare is worth it. It's American styled food - burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, milkshakes, ice cream cones and fries.Now they have Oatly, too, as a soft serve option. I can't wait to try it.
This place has mighty fine hamburgers and a whole bunch of other stuff I've yet to try. The only dumb side is their popularity .the wait Can be quite extensive. But this place aint expensive unless time was money then it would be a little bit expensive. Their food is fresh and delicious. Their sodas are Is cold. The food is also hot when you get it. And that's very important when it comes to getting good food. It just might be Milwaukie's best kept secret.
The burger basket you should pass on it 13$ for 8 tator tots and a very small inch of potato salad full cup of ice sodas burger patty is fast food thin like a McDonald’s patty and they are unwilling to give very many condiments and cheese was barely melted on burger I want a refund got scammed
Our family has been going to Mikes since 1983. Not sure what is going on but the last 2 times in a row at the Milwaukie location they have forgotten 3 items each time. They never put ranch, coleslaw with orders and completely leave items out like mushrooms and corn dogs. I’m done dealing with this. We will not be going back. They never refunded me. They wanted me to come back. Nope!
