I've had biscuits and gravy from all over the country, and not one of them compared favorably to this place's gravy recipe. Best I've ever had, highly recommend on that alone. Family owned local shop huge plus.

How have I not left a review for this place yet?! I have done the community a disservice, and I ask for your forgiveness! Right off the bat, I need to talk about the biscuits and gravy. Specifically, the gravy. This gravy beats YOUR grandmas gravy in to the ground! This gravy torments your soul until you go back and get more gravy. This is the gravy people on death row request as their last meal! This is the gravy you’ll be craving on your deathbed. When you’re little grandchildren come to give you one last kiss, and someone walks in with this gravy, you’ll push little Johnny outta the way, and grab that gravy before you take your last breath. Ok, so food’s awesome, portions huge, service spectacular! To sum up: gravy! Get the gravy on everything. And when I say on everything, get it on EVERYTHING! The omelets, the waffles, the pancakes, sandwiches, pie… get 6 gallons of it, and take a bath with it. People will walk up to you and ask why you smell so delicious, and you can tell them that you’re wearing Gramma’s Gravy!

I had the urge for sausage and gravy. Birthday treat you know. But when I arrived I saw their special — peach cobbler French toast. Totally decadent and very tasty. Their bacon is maybe the best I’ve ever tasted too. Come on down to milwaukie.

I stopped in town to grab some food and was blown away by how nice everyone was. The owner’s are super friendly and actually waited on us personally! The food was very good and the place was clean. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze. Everything was just perfect!

Great, and I mean great food at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff that provides over-the-top service. Small indoor seating area but worth waiting for a table. Hands down, best place in Milwaukie for a meal. Only improvement needed is different brand of coffee. Sense of community and belonging that escapes chain places.

great food and even better people.

This place is a cute, friendly, neighborhood restaurant that serves typical diner style food with a smile. The restaurant itself is pretty small with several booths and a couple of free standing tables. There are also tables outside on the covered patio. The food quality in general is average except for a couple of gems: they scratch-make their gravy and clam chowder and both are delicious. They would have five stars except they have absolutely no vegan options. It's still four stars because they don't claim to cater to any dietary restrictions at all.

Best gravy I have ever had! Also I had a piece of pie here and it was again the best pie ever. It was a mint cheesecake I assume, so freaking good. Good portions as well.

This was an impromptu stop for us before an afternoon college tour, and it was perfect. Nothing frilly or fancy, just great comfort food and excellent service!

The food here is INCREDIBLE! Very impressive. So many small details really stand out to me that are very hard to find anywhere else! The freshness of the ingredients, never over-seasoned (but never under either!), the consistency of quality, I could go on and on! I've only been able to order deliveries so far due to an injury, but those experiences have been far better than others as well! These people really care about what they're doing, and it's extremely apparent. I'm looking for forward to dining in person soon once this broken leg heals! ?
