Saw the commercial so went to check it out. Wanted just to see the menu before deciding to eat. So we went in, I asked to see the menu but he insisted we sit, so we did. So far kinda odd, as seeing the menu first is not unusual, lots of restaurants post them. Anyway, we sat down and then he says "would you ask to see the menu in a fancy steak house? ". My answer was,of course, yes. I was insulted he would make such a comment so we told him never mind and we stood to leave. Unbelievably he say, God bless you, kinda in a sarcastic tone. We went out the door and he followed us out still hollering for God to bless us. I told him I am blessed but he was not. Sorry sir, your words did not reflect your actions. You want customers, be nice.

At Milwaukie Farmer's Market location. My omelet was exceptional, loaded with fresh veggies, and worth the wait. His pork tacos were "pretty ok".

Went for first time. Had great lunch. Food was perfect, margaritas were the best, service was fun. We will be back.

The $12.50 Margaritas are filled w ice, yet strong. Chips and salsa are not free. The owner says he learned that in running a restaurant that nothing is free. (Even my local drive thru gives chips and salsa w 3 rolled tacos for $4.98.) There wasnt even a full serving of rice on the platter. Over $57 for lunch for 2. We wont go back.

It was our first time eating here and there will not be a second time. The only thing worse than the food was their customer service. Spent nearly $50 on food and I wouldn't even feed it to my dogs, that's how terrible tasting the food was.

Charles was so hospitable!! The food was wonderful, flavorful, just like he said it would be. Fried asparagus, of course, tamales and a patron shot, or two. Nice to get out local and truly relax

Brought my Mom and friend here a coue weeks ago. Place is small but fun! One of the owners was there and it wasn't too busy so she had time to talk with us, so nice!We ate way too much had some fabulous margaritas and ordered a bunch to go frozen tamales. So glad we made the trek from the coast!

Not at all what we expected based on commercials. VERY SMALL, odd location. Folks seem comfortable "drinking their lunch", prices noticeably higher in person than what is listed online and service.... to avoid describing it as snarky, snappy or rude .... I would say it should be "taken with a grain of salt". Overall, the food was tasty but not going back anytime soon.

Awesome! Owner is so cool and food is exceptional!!! Only reason not 5 stars is the very relaxed atmosphere. Don't let the 1st impression throw you. Relax and enjoy!

Love all the different tamale flavors they offer! There is a whole list of vegetarian & vegan tamales as well. The owner is always so friendly!
