Needed to grab a bite after landing in Medford. Were very glad that the restaurant is accessible post security, as we wanted to grab our bags after landing first. After picking up bags, you can take a elevator up to the post security side of the restaurant and order off the menu - this side is not nearly as busy as the security side, where people are eating while waiting for their flight. We found the service exceptional, our waiter gave us quite a few local tips on sites to see in the area, and the food was very good.
I arrived early for a delayed flight and stopped by this, the only restaurant at the tiny Medford airport. Had the same okay fries and glass of wine I have had on previous occasions. Same smiling and efficient service. The difference this time was the restaurant was just slammed with almost every table seated. I have never seen it this busy. My server, Brenda, still managed to check in with me sufficiently and even develop a pleasant rapport despite serving a huge number of tables (at which she was also kind and helpful). Food and wine were delivered promptly. The manager, Tanner, was out clearing tables and filling in. From time to time back-of-the-house staff came out to fill in as well. Nice job, Sky House! Now if you could just address the pricing-to-value ratio...$10 for a basket of okay fries and $13 for an okay glass of wine seems truly overpriced.
Got to the airport early enough for a meal, had the classic three layer club sandwich with fries and was not disappointed. Heaping with sliced turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato on toasted sourdough bread. The fries were piping hot too. Was exactly what I expected and hit the spot!
Great place to dine and wait for your flight. They have good selections and they have video lottery. Staff were great and attentive!
Having flown out of Medford numerous times, I did not know they had a bar and grill upstairs. So after watching the commotion on the runway where it was discovered a large crack in the wing of the airplane next to mine ? It was time to settle the nerves with one tall rum and coke? My waitress Mercedes assured me I'd hear my boarding call. All went well.
This place is bangin’
Epic Fail!!! The web says they close at 8 pm but really they close at 6:30 pm. Yum dinner out of a vending machine, my favorite ?
Great drinks and food. We had a great time
Wasn't open, although it's website said it was until 8 pm. Many, very hungry, disappointed flyers hoping to eat before their flight!
Our ideal breakfast is comprised of: eggs done as we like them, without grease; from-scratch hash browns, ditto; & a smooth cup of coffee to wash it down. That’s not a lot to ask, but we seldom get all three. Usually, the coffee’s bitter. Sky House has it all. Don’t wait for your connection, & slam fast food in Seattle—eat at the Medford airport! You have to have a ticket, though.
