Ordered takeout - parking lot is somewhat small. Staff was pleasant. Good diversity of menu. Ordered Happy Family - good variety of ingredients, but broth/sauce very watery and vegetables slightly overcooked (slightly mushy). Egg rolls were cooked perfectly and filling was good (one pork, one vegetable). Egg Foo Young was more cake-like than usual, but taste was okay - also very dense, consistency similar to crab cake.
OMG, this was so disappointing especially since it was my first trip out with my mother to a restaurant in 2 years since the pandemic hit. She had read in the local rag that it was a top notch Chinese restaurant in the area. So my son and mother and I,ventured out for lunch there. It was the lunch hour and there were only 2 other cars in parking lot ( should have been a clue and we even commented on this fact). Inside was clean only a handful of folks, 2 waitresses working but the service was slow. We ordered general Taos chicken, sweet and sour pork and pork chow fun. The lunch came with a cup of hot and sour soup, this was a gelatinous mess that actually tasted like a hint of rust. The main courses came out and how sad it was. Sweet and sour pork was just deep fried, heavily breaded pork pieces with a ( probably out of the jar or can) sauce poured over it. No onion, bell peppers pineapple chunks etc that you would normally find in this dish. The chicken dish was the exact same just a different jarred sauce over the top. The chow fun was the best of the worse at least a few veggies found the plate. Do not waste your time or money on this place, heck Panda Express would have done way better.
I bought a 50.00 gift card from silver dragon in Medford Oregon and they would not except it as payment said they don't take them anymore and would not buy it back which is stealing I don't know which way to go to solve problem any help would be grateful.. Cheryl
The food is good. Can easily feed 2 people on one dish; a single person will definitely take home leftovers. The parking lot is very small larger vehicles may have a hard time getting in and out
This place has the best food in town. Best place to go if this is the type of food your feeling
My husband went in at 3:00 pm to order & pay for our family's Christmas Eve dinner and were told we could pick it up at 5:50pm. When our son arrived to pick up the order he was told to wait. 1 hour later with his grandma waiting in the car and the outside temp being 37 degrees the order was finally ready. It's so ridiculous to prepay & order only to have our son & grandma have to wait so long in the cold. Not coming back :(There was no apology given or phone call of how far out the orders were. In the future it would have been good to have someone at the restaurant give notice of their severe wait time.
Always good hot food! Very busy on Christmas Eve, But they still managed to be super friendly and get all the food out.
We placed an order at 2:30 3:00 on Christmas Eve to pick up later that evening. Knowing they were very busy we waited an extra half hour to pick up our food only to find out there wasn't an order for us. They said they would make it right away and after 2 hours we gave up and left. No sorry or anything just no Christmas eve Chinese. This is the second time this has happened and the last.
We have always had friendly and fast service. The food has always been amazing and so much food in one order.
