Ok, the food is pretty good and price is fine, but today was the 2nd time we went to eat there this year and they decided to just lock up before posted closing time. It was 6pm and they are posted to close at 7pm. No reason. We had a planned family meal there and had to scramble to figure out what to do. In the span of 3 minutes, 3 other customers did the same as us. Walked up and tried to open the door only to find it locked. And people are inside. They could atleast put a piece of paper up saying out of food or whatever caused the early closing. There are to many Mexican restaurant choices to treat customers this way. We will get a burrito elsewhere from now on. Just bad customer relations.
After is Señor Sam's in Ashland closed I had a craving to years. So when I discovered that there was one opened in Medford I drove stright for it! I was delighted that the food was the same as it was in Ashland. Food was as good as ever, service wasn't too bad, and pricesare fair for what you get. You should definitely go here when you're starving cause they give a lot of food.
I stopped here on my way to Grants Pass and was blown away by the prices, Super expensive! 20% more than what I pay in Klamath Falls. I had a burrito that had very little taste. I was very disappointed especially considering the price. There were 2 trucks offering Mexican food nearby and I wish I had gone to one of those. I will not go back. The person taking orders and making the food was awesome tough, she was extremely nice hence 1 extra star due to her.
The worker stole money off my card… Spent $8.50 tipped to an even $10. On a to go order. Card was charged 11.70. As a someone who works as a real server i can tell ya exactly what happened. Wont be back. Watch out here.
Order shredded beef. I receive a chicken burrito and a note that says “sorry didn’t have enough”. My wife gets a tostada which came without a crunchy tortillas on the bottom or cheese. Only lettuce, meat and beans. Señor Sams, you BLOW!!!!!!!!!
Mediocre food and service. I do not recommend.
i expect a certain level of cafeteria style of fake mexican food when i get food here, but this time.... was the final and big straw.... i got something simple... 2, meat enchiladas... any mexican food should be able to nail it.... what came... , to be fair.. did look like enchiladas.... with this massive pile of huge(lazy) chopped onions, piled to one side.. with a literal lake of soupy sour cream, pooled up and covering half of it.... i bit into it, and was met with a red chile sauce, as flavorless as the name of this restaurant, once i got past the mundane and non exsistant flavor of the chile sauce and reached the meat.. the second "star" of the dish... what i bit into, was barely more then overcooked pork jerky... it looked like it was supposed to be good... but i imagine the cook, tired of cooking horrible food, just threw the meat on the grill to reheat it, and let it sit there till all of the moisture left the meat... much like what happened when i bit into the pork jerky.... it was so dry, i had to grab a cup of water, while chewing for 3 minutes.. trying to swallow sandpaper that wasnt even flavored like chile, there i sat.. like the hungry fool i was.. determined to finish this meal... and only made it half way, before i finally gave up and gave the remaining encilada to my dogs.... which, may i note... went instantly to their water bowl and chugged water like it was a hot summer day, right after eating this...... pork jerky wrapped red colored embrassment they sold me under the guise of an enchilada... i feel, legit.. ripped off.. and honestly... not gonna make the mistake of getting "mexican" food from this cafeteria..... id rather go to taco bell...
Professional and friendly the chicken is cooked perfect every time i get it. Very nice thoughtful staff

The Senor Sam's in Medford is a good place to eat.The service and food has always been good. They have tasty tacos, burritos, quesadillas and other food also. And the price is fairly reasonable for what you get. Stop in and get some great food and enjoy!
