Pomodori. While in town visiting relatives I took my sister out here. It is a charming place of exposed brickwork and hardwood, all clean and in good condition. An open view of Main Street lends further enchantment. Our server gave the perfect level of welcoming attentiveness. The white Mac and cheese was alone worth a second visit, and I saw several other menu gems that I want to try on a subsequent visit. Definitely a good place to bring a date or have a business lunch, striking the balance between having some class and being down to earth. Five out of five meatballs.
Visiting from out of town on work. I wanted shrimp for my Birthday dinner. I got the wild shrimp with the soup. Also has a bitter Ricky and a hash tag. While the blond waitress was blithe the bartender who made the drinks and helped server (with the Gorgonzola tattoo) was awesome and knew the menu. I just wish I had more opportunities to visit Medford to eat here. It was truly great food at a great price.
Pom in Medford just absolutely the best place to eat in Medford!!! Their food is simply organismic, and the one the bar tenders is just simply delectable. She’s short about 5’6 with black hair I would say shoulder length now she knows how to make a drink and is the funniest girl is the 97501!!! Highly recommend!!!!! And then male bartender with short brown hair has a huge u know what (wink wink)
We are long time fans of LaPomodori in Florence, Oregon which was previously affiliated with this restaurant and these owners and so we were really looking forward to a great dining experience. Sadly it was not. Service staff seemed terribly distracted and disorganized. We arrived for our reservations and were greeted with no welcoming persona. We ordered Bruschetta and Tomato Bisque soup. Both were excellent. Then everything just stopped. Our drinks were neglected and our two waitresses came past by our table several times but we couldn’t get their attention. We waited 40 additional minutes between courses for our entrees. When we finally flagged one down she asked us if we were ready for dessert and we remarked that we hadn’t even eaten our missing entrees yet. She apologized and said “They aren’t up yet.” She was so unaware of us that she never noticed that we never got our dinners. They did arrive a few minutes later. 45 minutes! My Fettuccine Alfredo was not hot, had little sauce and the chicken was hard, dry and overcooked. It lacked the mushrooms I requested to be added. Clearly the chicken was cooked and cut up hours or the day before. Our other entree was satisfying, a steak fettuccine alfredo that was totally different than my tasteless and hard chicken, Dessert was two little pieces of cheesecake. Sorry, won’t be back.
I’ll admit I love it here and come here a lot but recently they drop the ball every night and they’re extremely rude. Last time we forgot our left overs and I came back within 20 minutes and they already threw them away. It was basically our whole meals so that’s 70$ I’ll never get back. Wouldn’t recommend
I gave one star for the service because they took way too long to service the food the waitress was not friendly or nice with us she was drunk and I saw her taking shots myself and when i asked her about my food she brought it cold meaning it been ready she just didn’t care to check one hour n half later
I come here with my wife about once a month or so, we always have delicious meals and quick service. The mixed drinks are outstanding and not too expensive, try the briar patch if you like whiskey, it's my favorite. I believe they have changed owners over the years once or twice (could be wrong), but it's never lost quality between transitions and the management/staff handling it now are excellent. Highly recommend!
Service was a little slow. But they were busy and sort staffed. So I can't blame them for that. Food was amazing and drinks were great. Highly recommend.
We decided to go to Pomodori on the spur of the moment at 5 pm. They were booked with reservations so we would have to sit at the bar. Right after we sat down an employee came to us and took us to another dining room. It was so great because they found a good place for us. The service was impeccable. I don't recall the wait person's name, but she was young and had long dark hair. Very professional but warm. The food was very good. Well prepared and timely. Also the drnks were excellent. Highly recommend.
So the service was a bit slow to get seated despite our reservation but I think it's from short staff. I can still give 5 stars because the food was great and the staff was really friendly and trying their best.
