Really enjoyed the portion sizes and the food was delicious. I got the Mar Far Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and BBQ pork. The pink sauce shocked me when I saw the amount I got with my order as it was the most I've ever seen without asking for more! Ever since Yummy Yans closed down I have been missing out on good Chinese food takeout. Can't stand the other two places in town, and the building here I wouldn't mind taking some of my friends or family to for a sit down meal =)
General tso chicken looked like it could have been cat or rabbit , let alone the general tso sauce taste like cornstarch super thick and chunky( no one on the west coast know how to make properly ) Pork fried rice had no pork (like zero pork )and smelled like seafood, and the 3 egg rolls were definitely spoiled, like it was made with sauerkraut and over boiled egg! The shrimp lo mein was the best part but since when was lo mein made with angle hair pasta? There are ancient ancestors rolling in their graves right now, sad to say this was not Chinese food !
Americanized Garbage. Just stepping one foot inside this place and you can immediately tell that it is FAR removed from its chinse roots. The Rice was WAY overcooked, dry and salty tasting. Not good when you can't even do rice correctly. If one were to walk into this restaurant without knowing it's name or type than one could assume this was just a normal American diner, not a Chinese restaurant.
Rice is dry and salty. Looks nothing like a Chinese restaurant should. The food overall is just down right terrible.
Hands down the rudest place! Great food , rude waitress and We were very very patient. I guess cleaning the tables was more important than your paying customers and the look the other waitress gave me when I dared asked for our hot tea and silverware. Never again will we eat here. If we now order takeout Tips are appreciated but they are earned.
Picked up Chinese food at New China 2 nights ago on Christmas eve. Everyone was courteous and efficient. It was delicious! I gave itb4bstars because the pork fried rice was only rice.
The dining in service was slow due to there only being 3 servers but there was a sign posted that explained why there was delay. I was there with friends, our dinner time was approximately 1 1/2 hours, our orders taking 25 minutes to table. But don't read this as a complaint! The servers did everything possible to make our visit a good experience, returning to the table 7 times!! And this was no easy feat as they were also assisting walk in/pick up orders numbering more than 20 during our visit. And did I mention that our food looked amazing, beautifully plated? I had the Mongolian tofu and veggies, it was fabulous! I can't wait to eat my husband's leftover chow mein for breakfast tomorrow...!!
I have only started going there earlier this year. They have definitely been another business affected by the pandemic and staff shortages. That hasn't affected anything I have ever ordered. Great food, good service & decent sized portions
Excellent menu, comfortable seating, good location. And not overpriced!
Been there twice, and both times there were mistakes and food was NOT good.1st time a (to-go) order and both entrees were supposed to come with rice. But, instead of giving us 2 sides they combined into a single small container equaling less rice. This shortage was confirmed when I went back the 2nd time and brought it to the attention of the ( same) waitress I had the 1st time. No apologies, or an extra side of rice were given to right this shortage of paid for food. The 2nd time I ordered the Chicken Curry which she said comes with yellow curry. The sauce was brown, no potatoes, few slivers of chicken, and way to many vegetables. These vegetables were 80% of the dish, and looked like they were pulled out of a dumpster at another chinese restaurant. Very bad and don't make excuses about being short handed. Things are tough for everyone right now and do better if you want people who are struggling to come and spend their money at your establishment.
