Food for the most part was very good, and a good value. Service was quite slow, as they were under-staffed, as are many restaurants. Forgot our water and wine. Our server was friendly, but had no time to give service.
I have a friend that is allergic to seafood. They had a lot of options for her to eat.Their appetizers were really good.Their kids menu was also awesome.I had a poke bowl that I honestly didn't like that much, it needed more sauce and for sure more veggies. They serve it in a massive plate that is pretty much empty. They need to go try a poke bowl place, and copy theirs instead.The service was also great, very accommodating with the kids in our party.Everyone loved the lime cheesecake that we ordered to share.I will go again when I go visit.
It was CLOSED!!! And how embarrassing! I had company that came in from out of town and we all met at McGrathâs only to find that it is closed on Sundayâs. Why would you let me make a reservation if the restaurant is closed????? I am livid!
The server was AWFUL so we decided to leave. We spoke with the manager who offered a different table. The new server was great but the food was lacking to say the least. Mashed potatoes were extremely dry and crunchy. Salads were good but we went in for the lobster and it was over-cooked and disappointing. Over all a negative experience and we wonât be going back.

We always loved going to McGrath's & always good food whether you sit inside or take out. But we were there a few days ago on a Monday for lunch. I ordered my Shrimp Louie salad. So disappointing, Cucumbers wrinkled, olives were old. Lettuce alot of brown edges, mixed with maybe some new lettuce shrimp was so so. So disappointing because we always have this & the quality this time was way down. My clam chowder & bread were good. But I won't be back for a long time. My daughter wanted a club sandwich but they didn't have any turkey, so she asked if she could get grilled cheese, they could make it but would be same price as a club, no not worth it. McGrath's was our go to place in Medford. Not now, so sad. The service was good, waitress was nice.
Fish was soggy and half raw I could of had better and long John silver really bad
The razor clams were good but the vegetables looked like they had been sitting all day. They were mushy and brown. The instant potatoes were also disgusting.
We had an 8:30 reservation that they changed to 7:30 on open table. We got there at 7:50 straight from airport and they didn’t want to serve us. Finally someone a little more mature came out and seated us and told a server to serve us. The server told us they were out of most of the side dishes. We ordered two drinks and one main with the only sides available cole slaw, fries and a salad. It was served quickly and we ate in less than 30 minutes leaving a 30% tip as she had to work 15 extra minutes.
My husband and I have gone there quite a few times and we love it, we’ve always had a great experience with one particular waitress. But today was the WORST EXPERIENCE ever. We had a different server and she was rudest person ever. When she took por order she was being super rude and seemed like she did not want to serve us. We waited for our food for 40 MINUTES! She never came to check up on us a single time just to even say that the food was taking longer than usual or for drink refills she would just walk by our table and give us a rude look. When the food came out she just threw the plates to us without saying a single word like “this plate is for you” or just something a server would say when putting a plate down for the customer. She left the plates and just left without asking if we needed anything else.. we are never going back! We got up paid the tab and left. We DID NOT EAT ANYTHING! We spoke to a manager but she seemed to not really care or didn’t offer us at least a discount or said sorry!
