Yummy bakery items, solid coffee options and savory skillets available. today’s fresh plain bagel cost me $2.50, so not the cheapest but delicious nevertheless.When I come here with my husband, the price point exceeds $10 a person because we do purchase one of the breakfast or lunch meals…plus a fresh bakery item.I only wish they had not done away with their rewards program.
The Good Bean Cafe located over here in East Medford, is a very nice place to get some hot or cold beverages and some snacks.The young lady who took our order and served us was very polite and friendly, and seem to know what they were about in the barista department.The inside is nicely decorated, and has a good atmosphere. And this location is in a good spot. Next time you're in the area, I definitely recommend stopping on by!
Ordered two burritos online. Added avocado to one burrito, but instead of putting the avocado inside the burrito, they give it to you on the side. Pure laziness. To add insult to injury, both burritos were burnt. Watched the cook finish our burritos - he was more interested in talking to his fellow employee than doing his job or performing quality control. Wish I could say this was the exception rather than the rule b/c this isn’t the first time our burritos we’re burnt.
I’m a long-time customer, and I work with a lot of people in many public settings, and so I notice when people are polite or acknowledge the presence of other human beings. I try very hard to say “hi” or “good morning”, “good afternoon” or “good evening” upon greeting someone (even if I don’t feel good that day). With this in mind, I stopped by Good Bean this morning and the young lady didn’t greet me, but I’m always nice and said “good morning” anyway, however I didn’t get a response to this. I tipped her anyway. I didn't get a response to this kind gesture. I said “thanks”, yet again but no response. However, she was being chatty with the young male co-worker who was next to her. It was such a weird experience. I go to Good Bean regularly because usually it’s a positive experience, but this morning I felt like less of a long-time customer and more of a number. The weird thing is that I’m in such a good mood today & I wish I wasn’t wearing a mask so she could have seen my smile. Anyhow, I did Not take offense to her unprofessionalism, but I’m leaving this review as advice from one former barista to a current one—please be kind to your customers so they keep coming back and keep tipping.
