Great Service! Great Environment! Delicious Water!Terrible Bread... Not sure if it wasn't cooked all the way or that's how it normally comes. Getting charged $5.00 for adding pesto to a dish is a little pricey, wouldn't ya say? Considering I'm substituting Alfredo Sauce for it. Why is there no Dish with Pesto? $20 bucks for a dish and no left overs. Yikes... Definitely not returning. Thanks.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Medford, Oregon. Chose Cicily's Pastaria & Grill as our destination for dinner on a Sunday evening. Called ahead for reservations just in case but, was able to get seated right away. No automated call answering(which I appreciated), hostess was friendly, our server was Kenny and he was fast funny and very through. We had a great experience like always. We will always return and recommend to anyone who wants a non commercialized restaurant chain experience. Thank you Cicily's staff~
My husband and I ate here for our wedding anniversary today. The hostess apologized in advance that they were short staffed, which we totally understand. However there were only a few other tables dinning and once our server brought our food we didn’t see her again until my husband was already finished with his food. Our drinks were empty at the time she brought our food but she didn’t bring us refills. I had to ask for a refill when she came to take his plate away, instead of bringing it quickly she stood at the bar and listened to the bartender tell her a story about a phone call he had just taken, then she seated a couple who walked in then finally brought us our drinks. The chicken Marsala side salads and risotto fritter were really good. However $60 for our lunch and dissatisfying service was a bit steep.
Ordered to go food and went to restaurant to pick up at the time they said it would be ready. Well after waiting 15 minutes I was told they were working on it. After another 15 minutes was told the meatballs were up. We are now 50 minutes after I ordered. There was no attempt to expedite anything, just a series of "I understand" can we get you a drink?Nope, just want my food. Over and over again I had to explain.Needless to say ended up leaving without any food and hour after we ordered. Completely inexcusable
Awesome customer service, I even took the waitress pen..(mistake) I'm sorry by the way. Price to portion was great. But the food.. It was rather bland & not authentic, I tasted can and water in all the pastas. Presentation & atmosphere was awesome. Ate there a few times to make sure I wasn't tripping. Needs some added authenticity please better yet "flavor"
I always enjoy taking my Mom here for lunch. The food is great, served hot and has a welcoming environment inside or out on the patio.Today our server was a true professional with grace and attentiveness who can also mix a great drink from the bar.I recommend for lunch one of their great paninis, the lasagna or even the spaghetti and meatballs. I prefer mine with angel hair pasta and it’s always delicious.
My husband and I had dinner at Cecily's last night. We have been there at least a half dozen times over the past years but this was our first time back since Covid. The atmosphere has always been very pleasant and we enjoy that they have booths but I probably would have rated the food "pretty good". Last night I ordered Chicken Portofino. It was delicious!!! My husband had the Flatiron Steak, also delicious and cooked Med Rare to perfection. They serve a superb green salad and even the dinner's veggie was really good, unlike most places where it is more of a decoration on the plate. Service was excellent. We will definitely be going back soon. Thank you Cecily's !!
Great atmosphere and friendly wait staff, good food. Unfortunately (no fault of the staff) they are extremely under staffed so the last two times we came here the wait was considerable. They also have a gluten free pasta they can sub out on any pasta dish which is a plus.
I only counted one cheese in the three cheese vodka ravioli, that was ricotta cheese. Also, the risotto fritters were pretty bland. The vegetable risotto was good though, and the pasta fresco was okay. Maybe I'd enjoy Cicily's more if I ate meat, but since I don't, I probably won't order from them again. And the garlic bread is shaped like little french toast sticks.
We stopped in without a reservation. Luckily, they were able to seat us.This is a gem in Medford. The service was good despite the fact that they were VERY busy. My one complaint is that we waited quite a while for the check. Each of our meals was excellent. If we return to Medford, we will definitely be back.
