Staff are good people. But I'm thoroughly disappointed in the huge reduction in portion sizes. And also, just like another reviewer mentioned, they are using aged and oxidated avocados. The attached picture is the loaded fries appetizer for $7.99. It is clearly now a "small plate" portion size with full plate pricing. I'm sure this is a policy ,among other things at all Shari's locations as a result of the last 2 years. Come on, Costs can be cut without alienating the customer.
Each time we get food here the avocados are disgusting. They are visibly brown so there is no excuse for them to serve (let alone charge extra for) this rancid-tasting stuff
Petra was an amazing server as usual. Our steaks were pure perfection, baked potato slightly overdone but still delicious. I do prefer the later time to go in for this reason.
They let me dance throughout the restaurant and my order was fast and tasted amazing. Had a great chicken fried steak and eggs. Twas nummy
Nice waitress. Ordered the salmon and it was a bit under cooked. The manager was apologetic saying it was a new chef and cut the cost of the plate on half. Otherwise don't let that stop you from going there.
Took 50 minutes to get our breakfast. Only 4 tables were taken. No large groups. We had to get to our day . We wereNot happy at all. Waiter was friendly but cook: we could see was talking alot in the kitchen. My food was cold. Won't be back!
It's fine. They've really limited their menu choices. Waitstaff was great. Food took a little too long to arrive. Found out Wednesdays are free slice pie days with paid entree.
Incredibly slow service. To be fair, their servers always seem frazzled and overworked. And we’re usually there for late night snacks when they’re more short staffed during then they are during the day. All of that being considered, the service is always remarkably slow, and most times we can only get attention from the wait staff after I’ve gotten the attention of a server or manager.The take away: the food IS good, however don’t come here if you don’t have time to just hang out for an extended period of time.
Wait for over 20 min just for some to get drinks ordered. We order the appetizer platter the chicken strips were pink. I order country fried steak and eggs. The only thing that was cook was the steak. The manager and waitress both said the cooks had a problem with the staff working so the cooks took it out on the customers. Was there for 2 hours waiting for them to get our order right but never happened. They kept bring us food we never ordered. We will not be going back.
The food is Fabulous a touch expensive but when uou taste the pie your in heaven. The 4 instead of 5 stars is due to me sitting 25 minutes for service, no waitress ever came my way even going so far to ignore my raised hands and calling to her several times. I finally had to go to podium and ask who my waitress was to get waited on. And not once was I offered a refill on soda after I finally was able to place order. Service was disappointing to say the least
