I decided to go inside for my meal and while I expected a wait, I did not expect to wait 40+ minutes. I ordered a pretty standard meal for myself and while I waited I noticed that they had three different ways people could order which was online, in store, and drive thru all of which were backed up. Seems like they’re pretty understaffed for the amount of food being ordered at any given point. Luckily, the food was still good.After reading other reviews it looks like this establishment only responds to the positive reviews and doesn’t actually acknowledge or care about the negative ones at all.
Cashier disappeared and left us standing at the counter waiting to order...Then I'm sitting around for 35min still waiting for a burger?Maybe it's worth the wait? But I can't find out because it's still not here...update:burger arrived @38min (per receipt timestamp).The food was good, but experience overshadowed by wait time.This was our 1st time there.It was good enough that I'd probably try stopping there again and hope for more timely service.Owner responded: "unydtbabminfoidby" ?
My family and I went here tonight, waiting almost 20 minutes at the intercom in the drive through before anyone would even take our order. From this location we could see multiple employees in the back area taking a break..... when we got to the window my husband asked to add cheese to his burger and was told that he could not because that was "against there policy". Are you kidding me!!!The whole experience of this service was awful. If I could rate this at zero stars I would. We definitely won't be coming here again.I haven't been so dissatisfied with service ever!
Terrible, Terrible and Terrible! I was going to eat here tonight and before coming to the building to order our food through the drive-thru, I decided to give them a call to not waste time and gas as I knew they closed at 8pm. It was 7:45pm at the time of my call and that’s when they told me it was closed. I didn’t understand why as they were saying they closed at 8pm and not at 7:45pm. Then my parents arrived two minutes later and we able to walk-in. So then I make my way there and as I arrived it was 7:55pm and kicked them out of the building canceling their order. All while still not being 8pm and canceling our food. Still ended up waisting gas and my time.
Being a long time burger connoisseur, I really thought I knew my options. Five Guy's, in'n'out, you get the idea. I kept hearing about Nancy Jo's and couldn't imagine it being that much better; how different can they possibly make things to warrant wasting a meal trying something different?Then I tried it. I was blind but now I see! Fresh hand cut fries for days, juicy super thick pefectly cooked burgers made from ground steak, everything fresh made to order, options for so many toppings like crazy, amazing handmade shakes that taste like you imagine a shake from the 50's, malts, root beer floats... Nancy Jo's is now easily my favorite burger joint!I took my Dad and it being our first time there (we live on the coast), the very warm manager Christina took us under her wing and did an incredible job of guiding us through the different menu options in an engaging and lighthearted way, answering our questions and making suggestions like a pro! She also made our delicious shakes, and somehow kept them thicker like it should be so you can start with the spoon and finish with the straw!The whole crew worked like a well-oiled machine and our fresh-made meal was in front if us in no time... wow, now that's a real burger and fries!! Compliments to the chef!It's hard to believe a jaded, lifetime burger aficionado could still be this impressed and surprised by a new option, but do yourself a favor and try Nancy Jo's when you get the chance; if my experience was any example, you will be a happy convert, too!
This has been my favorite fast food burger place until recently. I ordered a bacon burger and fries. Prior to COVID this was a very juicy and tasty burger with a "large" amount of fries for a small order of fries. The past couple visits of this order has been disappointing...the burger didnt quite have enough flavor/sauce and the amount of fries for the price is not reasonable. My friend ordered onion rings (says 6 to an order) and we were amazed that the order was so small, very small onion rings, and still only 6. Way overpriced! Please work on getting back the good old Nancy Jo's burgers, fries, and onion rings!!
Place has the best Burgers and Shakes,Fries are similar to In And Out.
Best fries anywhere. Usually a line, but I can understand why and it's worth the wait. NEVER been disappointed.
That’s how a burger place should be!!! Under promise over deliver! I honestly can not tell you when I’ve had bacon on a burger that was that good. It’s a lot of food, next time we’ll get a small fry to go with the burgers. Most times I will opt for the double burger, I’m glad I didn’t, wouldn’t have been able to finish it. Possibly my new favorite burger place it was that good.
This is on my list for to visit again. The staff was friendly. The burgers were huge and I love the choices of toppings and cheese.
